Now, I'm a little buzzed over what happened here, because my memory is a little fuzzy here.
We all know Droz was getting involved and eventually became an LOD member. Hawk became phased out, and we all know the drunk storyline. But I seem to recall they actually worked the 3 man LOD team with each combination, so Hawk wasn't completely phased off.
We know Hawk fell off the titantron, thanks to Droz, with the push or non-push depending on how you view it. Did Hawk essentially get written out of WWE history until 2003 because of this?
Was the storyline suppose to be Droz got drunk Hawk to take his place? And when was Animal in all of this? Was the end game suppose to be literally, Hawk and Animal finally realize what Droz is up to, beat the living crap out of him and give him the doomsday device?

That remains one of the most unintentionally hilarious moments in WWE history. I always mask for the use of the Married With Children dummy.

I found Droz pushing Hawk off the Titantron to be unintentionally hilarious!

Yes, Droz was the one supplying Hawk with pills and booze in order to steal his spot. 2. Animal blamed Hawk for not having his shit together and thus preferred to team with Droz. 3. There was a big reunion segment where Hawk revealed Droz's plan and Droz got beat up the the LOD was back together!!! And then I don't think they appeared on TV again.

For some reason I just never remember hearing anything else after the Titantron of Doom spot. So Droz was behind it all. Russo for you there!

my guess was at the time no ending was planned... because that's usually how Russo works.

Why did Droz debut with LOD to begin with? Was it supposed to be that he was Hawk's drug dealer, and they got him a job? Also, Droz didn't come in wearing the LoD gear like he did for a bit in the fall. He came in wearing plaid jorts and puking.

It's been so many years, but I think it looked like they might be setting up a Droz turn.

Their last TV appearance (with Ellering) was that pre-WM15 battle royal on Heat. They'd been off TV for a while, judging by the commentator's comments. And then they were all released a week or so later. I didn't remember them reuniting before that, good to know.

Animal actually knew everything about Droz's plan to steal Hawk's spot so he and Hawk hatched up a scheme to disguise themselves as each other and trick Droz into attempting to murder the partner he actually liked.

Actually, they were on Raw the next night challenging Owen and Jarrett for the tag team titles. That was their final appearance. They had spent the past month beefing with Patterson and Brisco over a skit where the Stooges dressed up as the Legion of Doom and had a parody match with Shane McMahon.

I'm assuming this last part happened on Heat, like a bunch of other random Attitude Era things like when the Head Bangers reunited

In 40 years time when senility will be kicking in for some of us we'll retell the story of how Hawk genuinely killed himself on Raw, live on TV....possibly dressed as the Blue Blazer, depending on how heavy our medication dosage is

I just saw them one day back on TV as a team so I though Glen Ruth was just out with an injury. See they had that whole "Chaz is a woman beater" thing going. Then one night on Heat when Chaz was getting arrested, Glen Ruth (yes, that's what they called him) came out and showed GTV footage of Marianna faking the bruises. Then Marianna got arrested and Chaz/Ruth did the butt five thing or whatever and were back as the Headbangers the next night on Raw. I only know this because I saw the Raw again and they showed footage from Heat. It took me FOREVER to find the full footage of that Heat episode and now that footage is gone once again, but it did happen.

I always thought that they phased out Hawk because he was injured from the Brawl 4 All, I was thinking had he not been, we'd be seeing a singles Hawk run. In 40 years time when senility will be kicking in for some of us we'll retell the story of how Hawk genuinely killed himself on Raw, live on TV....possibly dressed as the Blue Blazer, depending on how heavy our medication dosage is And that Animal was the one who drove the hummer and Lex Luger was the mystery man at Sin.

Wait, I just saw this on youtube, can someone explain this?
I thought Animal, while disgusted, didn't actually turn heel on Hawk, but he did there?
Or was this one of those story lines of "beat some sense into the guy" theme?
