I really enjoyed this. I need to finish my current retrospective of Jungle Fury, though if the male to female ratio bothered him here, he is going to absolutely detest Dino Charge's.

He sorta already knows about it, when he was on a Power Rangers/Super Sentai podcast that mentioned Dino Charge's sentai counterpart when it started up (it was the ep where he and the normal hosts went over the history of sentai suits up to the newest at the time series). As for Jungle Fury...interesting series and does look a lot better than Overdrive. Though IIRC I remember hearing a rumor (probably the Ranger equivalent of NEWZ) that Bulk and Skull were going to be the Elephant and Bat masters. Don't see it actually having ever been thought of, but thought I'd mention it.

His reaction to the masters spirit forms was priceless.

The animal costumes were in fact a holdover from Gekirangers in fact save for a couple of flashbacks the animal forms were how the masters regularly appeared on that series (And were given names that were puns on Hong Kong action stars: IE The Shark was named "Sharkie Chan" and the elephant was named "Elei Hung" and so forth.) And they were there from almost the start of the Gekirangers so you had time to get used to them.
The Fly character was also another holdover from Gekirangers who served the same purpose (Announce the giant monster fights.) and had almost the same back story.
While I've seen all of Gekirangers and a little of Jungle Fury I can see why Fury could be considered a good series since there wasn't a whole lot lost in the translation from Sentai to Power Rangers since the theme of Chinese Martial arts has been a long popular genre on both sides of the Pacific for about half a century.

Watching it now. I quite enjoy this whole HOPR series, even though I haven't paid attention to the Rangers since the original line-up.

One thing I learned from this is there is an Abridged version of Attack On Titan.

RPM is "divisive"? That's a funny way to pronounce "awesome". It must be his Minnesota accent.
As for Jungle Fury it looked like a pretty fun series in his review, if a little too goofy at times. Fran actually looked like an interesting character, I'm sad she didn't become a Ranger.

I loved GekiRanger but Jungle Fury...not so much.
Guess it stems from me not enjoying the main 3 rangers as much as their Sentai counterparts it just wasn't as fun but considering what we have had to trod through as of late with the past few seasons it no longer looks anywhere as bad.
And I am surprised Linkara likes the Jungle Fury theme , where as I cannot stand it.

It has one of the worst/best lyrics for a PW theme song, "Go Away! Cause we're Power Rangers Jungle Fury!"

Love his retrospectives on the series. Though since I have zero knowledge of the Japanese version of the show some things go over my head when I hear people talking about it lol. Might have to check this season out now. Just like with his SPD review, I'm now curious to see it.

RPM is the only Rangers series I can watch without needing to be sozzled on cheap rum and looking for cheaper guffaws.

It's not new, companies will often go after legal uses of products for parody. The trick is that most of the creators aren't wealthy enough to fight it in court so they'll relent, even if they don't have to.

The trick is that most of the creators aren't wealthy enough to fight it in court so they'll relent, even if they don't have to. That and using actual footage makes the fair use claim really sketchy. You're only allowed to use so much footage before you're actually considered guilty of infringement.
