Bare with me on this one; with all the buzz generated by the CM Punk and Vince/Austin podcasts I find myself unable to help but consider this. In spite of their track record, there are several midcarders currently in WWE who I think would actually be a lot better off in TNA, where they would have clean slates and fresh possibilities-especially given that TNA is doing their declared "reboot" and going to a new network.
Topping the list to me is Jack Swagger. The guy is a terrific hand in the ring and I could easily picture him putting on solid matches with Samoa Joe, Bobby Rood, or MVP. Given his general lack of mic skill, I could envision him as a partner for Ken Anderson or perhaps being Kurt Angle's protege. Another one would be Adam Rose-in WWE he's been buried in an unending feud with a bunny, but in TNA I could see him as an X title challenger easily. And rounding it out would be Alicia Fox-the perpetual multiple personality of the divas division who clearly will never be champ or be more than filler material, but as a TNA Knockout she could help inject more diversity and add a new face to a badly shrunken division.

TNA struggles to find purpose for their own people. I don't think sending underused/utilized WWE midcarders will give them the career boost like some think it will. The days of Christian Cage have come and gone. It would be like leaving your same place on the card for less money and people watching. Only time you think about going to TNA now is when you get future endeavored and even then there are much better options for former WWE people besides that.

Few, if any of them.

Right now? No one. No one at all. That company is moving to a channel that has a fraction of their previous audience.

Based on how NXT looks, I'd think guys would get more of a career boost signing with ROH nowadays.

I can't think of a single person that would be better off in TNA.
Nevermind WWE wrestlers. I mean anyone in life.

I think TNA is good for the guys who are good at what they do, but will never get four stars from Meltzer or anything like that.

Kofi. He'd probably get a world title reign if nothing else.

Because it's not like ROH is comprised of nothing but pure technical wrestlers. If it was, guys like Mike Bennett wouldn't be there. MATT HARDY had a successful run there last year. Talent shines no matter where it is. If you are good, you can make it in ROH.

Based on how NXT looks, I'd think guys would get more of a career boost signing with ROH nowadays. Even then- key word: GUYS. As far as Divas go, there are a few potential ones who'd still work better. The most obvious one would be Emma- if she jumped to TNA when she was briefly fired, she'd instantly become the lynchpin Knockout and be able to live up to the potential she showed in NXT.

TNA suffers because they don't have the talented roster they used to have. TNA at one time had a roster that rivaled NXT in some cases surpassed them. TNA right now is the 2014 49ers. They got the talent but too many underwhelming folks on the roster and the staff don't know how to use folks to their potential and beyond.

I could see Alex Riley as another "bigger guy that competes in the X-Division".

If this was like 4 years ago I'd say easily Cody Rhodes they could give him a fresh coat of Paint and have him be one of their top guys , but now a days I'm going to agree with a lot of earlier posts and say no one really.

I could see Alex Riley as another "bigger guy that competes in the X-Division". I dunno, that role's usually kept for giants. Dude's not big enough IMO. He could've maybe be a guy going after the Legends or whatever it was belt, but at the moment, can't see much for him. Also, they'd probably pay piss all compared to what he's getting just commentating on NXT/competing at house shows, so unless he really, really has a hankering for wrestling on TV, can't see him going for less money.

honestly if TNA was what they used ot be in the mid 00's if your name not Cena, Reigns, Ambrose, Bryan, Rollins, Ziggler, Wyatt, Big Show, and Kane, then I'm inclined to say most of the roster.
But a couple that stand out are Swagger and Cesaro

I think Derrick Bateman is the last underutilized former WWE guy who TNA utilized much better. I don't think anyone is going to make that transition now though.
