That's it, Jerry Lawler has officially wrestled everyone, real and fictional.

I love how instead of a "__ minute time limit" or the old stand by of "TV time remaining", the match is gonna go "until the expiration of time". The match is gonna go until time itself expires? That's heavy, man.
I love how the heel manager acting as Tom Sevini's envoy says how "Us Hollywood people stick together!" kind of reminds me of the end of the "Radioactive Man" episode of The Simpsons when the producers are forced to leave town after Springfield's price gouging and over taxation causes the production to go bankrupt and they have to go back home to Hollywood, "Where people treat each other right!"
I love how the WWF always got shit from Memphis for being like a circus or a cartoon, yet they have given us the most cartoonish gimmicks ever. Don't get me wrong, I love it. And I'm sure a lot of these accusations were most likely made to drum inter-promotional matches (i.e. "McMemphis"). But still, it does cause some cognitive dissonance.
Speaking of the Lawler-Kaufman feud:
Not only is it a great promo in terms of "arrogant Hollywood type talking down to us hard working salt of the earth people in the heart of America calling us filthy!". But it's funny to have Kaufman talking about not wanting to shake the hands of the (literally) unwashed masses when you consider how much has gotten out in the wake of Kaufman's death about his OCD.

The Jokester seems to be a poor sport, so in my opinion, the jokes on him.

Now see, if Lawler hadnt insulted Batman back in the 70s, this wouldnt have happened. what's funny, is that somewhere around 99 or so, Lawler *was* Batman for one episode of Memphis Wrestling. It was this Halloween show where all the workers wore costumes and didn't unmask until after the match (though it was mostly painfully obvious who most of them were). Lawler's Batman, Kitty is Catwoman and at the end of othe show Batman gets turned on by Popeye, who takes off his mask to reveal Brian Christopher.
