Mentioned this in another thread but:
Wouldn't be shocked if only BFG is left and maybe not even that. Wish they could get DA to give them a 3 hour weekend special instead of the crap Impact specials though.

Well, there's no point in TNA trying on the PPV market anymore.
I do think they should haggle DA for some monthly timeslots on Sundays though, to keep the idea of a supercard out there though.

Not even a live impact either. Have any of the "free PPVs" been live? Earliest I can remember is the DX where Sabin beat Bully Ray and I know that was taped.

Luckily for all of us, we still have Bound For Glory to look forward to. My life is complete.

Their audience is waaaaaaay smaller now, so why put on a show that less than 10,000 people would watch when Impact was doing over a million viewers? I'd hate to see the buyrate if they tried.

They might have actually gotten decent buyrates if they would put effort for once into PPVs and build them up instead of putting them out there at the last second and refuse to build them and expect people to buy them automatically.

No Pay Per Views? How is TNA going to generate revenue? By continuing the same booking philosophies that put them in the wonderful position where they are today.

No Pay Per Views? How is TNA going to generate revenue? Certainly not by having PPVS.

No PPVs? Does this mean that ROH is the #2 American promotion by default now?

No Pay Per Views? How is TNA going to generate revenue? Through foreign TV broadcast rights apparently.

Sundays is usually when Destination America airs new episodes of a Haunting and when it doesn't do that airs marathons, a Haunting is their longest running show though.

I was thinking about going to this show. Believe it or not, now that I know it'll be Lockdown, I don't want to go anymore. I really don't want to see so many cage matches in one night...especially after the crap I sat through during the last Impact taping I went to.

Yeah, I went to Hardcore Justice 2013 and I know how you feel. I saw a ladder match, table match, cage match, etc. and none of it felt special or had any meaning. I was just sort of burned out and sick of it by the end of the night.

That just silly. While I get at this point having a PPV would make no sense. Here how I worked it out. Every couple months do a three hour live special for the PPV replacement. At less for the first year. Make those events worth the time. Lockdown history of at less drawing one of the higher buys should still be a special event. Between that, Slammaversy, and BFG Maybe get a forth not sure which one means the most. Maybe make BFG the only true PPV but still do the special for the other PPVs. If they can get back on there feet enough where in year two they can true another PPV. In order too do so they need to start making the specials or PPVs mean something. Which they haven't but they must do this in order I think get fans too be interested in a PPV from them again.

No Pay Per Views? How is TNA going to generate revenue? That's a good question, but if PPV was not a money maker for them in the past (and it didn't appear to be), then getting rid of them likely won't do much (positive or negative) to their business. However, how they can generate revenue is a good question. I can't imagine using Hammerstein for so many dates is cheap, and unless they get an Impact Zone equivalent (either in Florida or elsewhere), how exactly do they plan on renting out arenas and generating any type of profit out of it? Getting out of the Impact Zone likely killed the company more than anything else. They could have survived without Spike (maybe), but without an affordable venue to tape shows and cut costs? That's the hard part.
