You don't enjoy him and it's fine that you don't...
But having talent or not isn't an opinion, and he pretty blatantly has talent.

Just like it took decades later for folks to realize the greatness of HBK and Bret Hart. Like it or not, he's been propping up the wrestling business for about a decade.

I would like him right now to take about a year off- for two reasons. One, he's been going full-throttle for a long time now, and he's not exactly a spring chicken. He may be a workaholic, but pretty soon his body is going to fail him with an epic injury. I'd prefer the guy learn to get enjoyment from other facets of his life; his girlfriend, his family, his tons of money, charity, etc. Better than being in a wheelchair or having chronic pain for the rest of his life. He can come back after a year, work a limited schedule (say, more than Brock but less than full time), get a thank you run, and ride off into the sunset.
Two, can you imagine the glory of a nerd-rage blow up that Roman Reigns, WWE champion will be? New boom period (for the forum).

He's going to be around for a while...I'm going to wager at least another 6 years or longer.

Next thing you tell us is that he's not going to brush our mouths like Colgate. He's not gonna lay our asses down for the three second tan either is he?

I hope so. Of course I've been hoping that for the past 10 years. I have never liked Cena. Ten years of this shit is enough. I'm looking forward to the day where they have someone who has talent in the top spot. Cena is the most talentless tool they've ever forced on us. Hopefully 2015 sees the phasing out of this clown and moving forward to better days and main events. Yeah....... No.

John Cena is the most famous wrestler alive on the planet today, yes even more than The Rock or Hogan. Some people have forgotten Rock ever wrestled and some kids won't know Hogan really. So yes Cena is one of the most talented dude there is, and he's earned every bit of that top spot he's stood there as with his ridiculous work ethic and laser like focus. If he actually retires I'll miss him terribly.

You see Hogan right now?
Imagine someone his age, but with more hardcore matches and spots involved in their career.
And then imagine that guy still trying to wrestle.
That will be Cena.

I think he'll be around a while yet. While there's a lot- A LOT - of repetition in everything they do with his character, I can't see signs of WWE getting bored of what he brings.
At his age, despite injuries that can't have healed properly in the past, he hasn't yet reached the stage where they have to start working around his limitations, or giving him time off like Taker. Once he reaches that stage then it might even be 5 years of limited but high-profile appearances before he's really all done.
Looking at the top faces around now, I can't see WWE being ready to lose Cena. Of the top faces that could - and should - have been built: Punk is gone, Bryan after this last year is probably more likely to retire before Cena, I doubt they can book Ambrose properly in the PG era to capitalise on him, Ryback was very badly handled and is still looking to get back the fire he once had, we all know about their history with Ziggler, and then there's Reigns who has yet to accomplish anything. Losing Cena wouldn't be terminal for WWE of course, but they aren't prepared to seamlessly transition from him if he were to suddenly go.
Cena will be around for ages yet.
