Tommorow is 2015, which marks 10 years since Cena became top guy. Im pretty sure he is going to transition into a part timer this year, with Bryan, Ziggler and the Shield carrying the show in the second half of the decade. Im sure Cena will get a bullshit title reign this year to up his count to 16, and then turn heel when he breaks Flair's record in 2016. But I think Cena's time as top babyface is done

I think he'll go until his neck makes him stop, which could be either tomorrow or years from now.

I predict he'll call it quits at the end of 2015 to settle down with Nikki

Cena's time is never up, it's always in the NOW. And until his theme says otherwise he's still going to brush mouths like Colgate.

I just want him to feud with Sami Zayn, an Undertaker/Jeff Hardy style.

I think they want to move on from Cena and into other places... but not very much. I'm figuring they're going to go ahead with the Reigns push, it's going to be a bust, and they'll go right back to the Cena gravy train. Repeat with whoever else they eye as prospects until eventually he suffers a career-ending injury and even then he seems nuts enough to try and keep going.

For the past few years, it doesn't even feel like they're trying to force feed Cena so much as he's just been their "In case of injury/failed push" button.

I can't remember a year where various people at the same time, from heel to face, all said Cena's time is past and they are taking over. I think WWE do want a new face and to have Cena use his star power in a supporting role but they can't seem to settle one who they want.

John Cena has been WWE's cash cow for so long that their expectations for a new top guy are probably unrealistically high and which the current crop of talent, it must be hard to just decide on one person.

The crowd are making it fairly clear they do not want "one guy" anymore. I think you could have the world title bounce fairly regularly between about 8 to 10 guys on TV at present and the crowd would accept it. Bryan is still the clear top guy for fans but you can't say the crowd would turn on someone like Ambrose or Ziggler beating him for it. Rusev taking it from Ziggler wouldn't be hated and Ryback taking it from him would be accepted. You can have a roster of credible world title guys all held in similar esteem by the fans. Instead they seem to want it all on Reigns. I am a big fan of Roman but he will suffer if WWE push this.

Very true, but WWE/Vince is still stuck in the outdated mindset that they need one guy to make all of the money. And as another big fan of Roman Reigns, I really don't see how they're going to get as much merchandise out of his character as they do for John Cena.

I figure Cena will be the top guy as long as he wants to be the top guy. WWE still doesn't seem to have faith in anyone else as the face of the company, and I think they'll milk Cena as long as they can.

Cena will probably be a full time wrestler longer than Bryan at this point.
