Since you've had that Anarcho-Capitalist flag avatar this long, I wouldn't have thought you'd noticed that policy. I am surprised something like that hasn't been noticed. I mean, that's a very clear political symbol. My two cents: it doesn't depict a politician or mock a religion or political stance per se, so I would be fine with it.

WWE can't even bring themselves to depict kayfabe employee dissent as being anything but troublecausers.
The Summer of Punk = WWE announcers calling Punk ungrateful. Bewildered at fans supporting him
The Walkout = Poor pitiful HHH, being treated so badly by the roster. Cue the violins
Yes Movement = Terrorists. Hijacking the show and ruining it for the WWE Universe.
Art imitating life.

If unionizing would be such a huge deal, then start treating them like actual independent contractors instead. WWE wants all of the perks they get out of treating them as employees but without affording the perks the talent themselves would have.

One note people should consider when discussing the effects of a hypothetical WWE wrestlers union strike: if a WWE union existed, it'd include top names. Without them, the union would have no prayer of existing in the first place (see: Hogan stopping Ventura from unionizing in the 80s).
Thus, should a strike occur, the top names would be off TV, and would be VERY visible in media outlets if they wished to make their stance known. While WWE could certainly hire scabs, as there would undoubtedly be tons of indy workers who'd clamor for the chance to be on international TV, it'd still be a PR nightmare if John Cena, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, and others were on news shows being very, very candid about WWE's business or medical practices...and unlike Punk or Del Rio, they'd be doing it while still employed by the company.

Good. I want it to collapse. Whatever may rise from the ashes will be the best wrestling we've seen in years. To be real honest, you'd never see any sort of wrestling in the US at the same level ever again I feel. It's a niche fanbase as is, and WWE is as big as it is a)cuz they have the capital and b)decades of goodwill. If the day comes when they ever close up shop, American wrestling in the mainstream is effectively dead. Don't get me wrong, wrestling will always be around in some form or fashion, but the days of them having huge tv deals and selling out big arenas in this country would be DONE. I'd be fine with the top promotion being something of the level of TNA (most shows all taped in one arena, with special events in smaller arenas in wrestling cities) with a lot of tourists from the various promotions across the country.

I hope WWE crashes and burns and LEARNS from it. If WWE just crashed and burned with nothing to show for it, wrestling in the US would be dead in my view.

Does that cover the costs suffered when they rush you back into action before you've had a chance to recover? Also does "any in-ring related injuries" cover situations such as Bryan where his injury is more due to wear and tear of a decade long career rather than an in ring accident such as Droz.

And (remembering Foley's book) would something like Barrett getting injured by being thrown into the barricade count as it was technically "outside the ring"?
