Geez, that's rough. I know MLW's Court Bauer had the same thing and it sounds rough. Hope everything gets better for him.

Next time Lesnar comes out, he hugs King and goes "I understand", then climbs into the ring with tears in his eyes. Bret Hart: Lesnar hugged Lawler, thinking it was me, but I only feuded with him. 4/10 on the sympathy Anyway, I hope he feels better soon. Being in the hospital is no fun.

I wonder if maybe it's time to pull King from the road for his own health. Having two kind of major scares within about two years does seem sort of big and it's not like the constant travel is likely to be helping.

Puppies bleed too you know Lawler doesn't eat puppies. Brock on the other hand... Lawler used to rant about puppies enough...

Terrible news. I wonder what the announce team will be next Monday? Just Cole and JBL, or does Tom Phillips replace The King on Raw?

As A Platypus Rave said, it was being at a WWE event that saved his life with the heart attack. Also, if you take him off WWE broadcasts, he'll just add more indie dates. All he does for WWE is show up to RAW and PPVs a few hours before the show and leave right after, the majority of his stressful work comes from his own doing and choice. The only person that can slow him down is him and he doesn't want that.

Don't worry. He'll be back to eating a box of Twinkies a day in no time.

I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
I wonder if it was related to his anal bleeding?

So it's just getting punched in the face? I know you meant it as a joke, but Brock lost his last match due to punches to his midsection, not his face.

So it's just getting punched in the face? Diverticulitis is code for 'complete lack of striking defence.'

So it's just getting punched in the face? Diverticulitis is code for 'complete lack of striking defence.' He did have striking defence, it just fell apart when Overeem booted him where his colon used to be. Up until that point, he'd managed to land a few decent shots, but you can pretty much pinpoint the kick to the body as where he starts to shut down.

Up until that point, he'd managed to land a few decent shots, but you can pretty much pinpoint the kick to the body as where he starts to shut down. His striking defence was never THAT good throughout his MMA career(especially against someone with the pedigree of Overeem) But that kick was about as pinpoint as you can get, regardless of opponent. Obviously, that was all compounded by his health issues. But that's probably enough of an MMA derail on my part in a Jerry Lawler thread.
