 Okay who else knew about this and who else is excited about it? Its the original cast of Digimon in a new series based off where Digimon 02 left off. Tai, Matt, Sora, Mimi, Izzy, Joe, T.K. and Kari are all grown up as high school/college students and I for one am very interested in seeing where this goes when it airs this spring. |

Heh, neat. They kind of look like they popped out of a Persona game.
That being said, were the "future" events where some of them are married, etc, canon, or does this sort of follow a different timeline?
I may watch this.

So I am betting this doesn't change the fact that TK fans have to stew with the fact TK doesn't get his girl and somehow ends up with his best friend.

Will the 02 and 03 Destined be there? As far as I know its just The Original 8 Digi-destined. As for the 02 & 03 cast I am not quite sure. Also it really makes me wonder now if the whole ending of 02 is considered canon or not now cause of this. I swear to go though they better give us the Takari pairing in this series. |

Taichi Yagami is now 17 and attending high school, when he and his friends, the Chosen Children, reunite with their Digimon partners in a new adventure to protect the Digital World from evil. The series is being directed by Keitaro Motonagawith scripts by Yuuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki This was taken from Wikipedia |

Wow, I had no idea this even existed.
Digimon was one of my favorite shows as a kid, so this'll be cool to see.

Will the 02 and 03 Destined be there? There is no Digimon Adventure 03. There is only Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02. Now if you mean Digimon Tamers, that is a completely different continuity. If anything, THIS is Digimon Adventure 03. |

Designs look really bland, which is a shame because I loved the Digimon Adventure characters Yeah, you look at the designs from the first two Adventures and Tri, and you have a hard time realizing they are the same character. I liked the eye designs from the old days. The only one that looks remotely similar to her 02 design (based off of the movie versions), IMO, is Mimi. I had a lot of enthusiasm for this, but I feel like this also has the potential to be a flop. |

yeah, the really boring designs were the first thing I noticed. Hopefully the regular series doesn't give them all plain school uniforms.
