I have always enjoyed the work Sting does. He was my hero in the 80's and 90's, and liked his work as it evolved in the late 00's. But I am concerned about his ability to put on a good match. I think he is way past his prime and the WWE knows this. I feel he is even past the point of having HHH carry him in a match.
I have been analyzing his debut at Survivor Series where he was not even in a match. If you look closely at it in HD, Sting was gassed a tad just walking to the ring, noticeably gassed after attacking the goon HHH sent out to stop him. After he death dropped HHH he was very visibly gassed out from just that minor physicality.
So I am very worried about the quality of the upcoming match with HHH or Undertaker. I still feel that he will face Undertaker at Mania somehow after facing HHH which will be his retirement match.
I do not want Sting to be embarrassed in his final matches. It would ruin his legacy.

Third thread you've made within the past 2 hours about a guy being gassed....
Maybe you just need to combine them all into 1 and just make bullet points to mention. It would help everyone out.

Having seen the guy's work the last couple of years in TNA, I didn't even want him to show up in WWE. Also, this.

seriously though - you think a guy like sting is going to have the chance to finally get a mania match and not do some cardio? I cannot wait to see sting wrestle at mania and honestly - workrate is not something that i have even given consideration 2 - sometimes it just doesn't matter

I don't know about you guys, but I am winded just reading the posts in this thread. What do I look like? Ric Flair circa 1986?

Sting was excited to come out to the ring then remembered he was in TNA and lost interest. Hence the walking.
It's like that old joke where the pretty girl smiles and waves at you, then when you wave back you realize she was waving to the person behind you.
