What did you think about it?

It was okay for what it was. I liked the Corre better.

I didn't like it at all. It didn't suit Punk or really make sense with the Nexus, either. Once Cena vanquished Barrett, that really should have been the end of it. It wasn't the best use of anybody involved.

Hated it.
It was a shell of the original group, as well as feeling like a ripoff of the straight Edge Society in its cultish gimmick. The group had no real credibility at this point and we're basically Punk's jobber army. The fact they didn't even bother to properly break them up after Punks MITB promo shows how little it really mattered.

They were just bodies for Punk, and I guess an excuse to clear the warehouses out of all the armbands and "N" shirts they had sitting around. The way that McGillicutty, Otunga, and Ryan were taken out before Wrestlemania by Orton was sad. That being said, I LOVED the yellow Punk "Aftershock" shirt. Still sitting in my attic somewhere, albeit two sizes too big.

I still love that moment. Punk sitting and slipping on the "N" armband. Even liked the slight "Fight Club"-feel it had at first. Like a-lot of things in the 'E, slight potential that imloded into nothing.

It was awful, because it did neither party any good at all. Complete filler.

It seemed like a last ditch effort to give the Nexus any relevance. And also give Punk something to do leading into his contract ending. It wasn't great, and they became Punks Job Squad. All of the members of the New Nexus needed a lot of work. But it served as a catalyst to the 2011 Punk run. So it was in a sense necessary.

It would have had a touch more potential if it wasn't being used in WWE's 10,000th attempt to make Randy Orton look important.

It was extra shaky because it was an attempt at some sort of Nexus do over and do overs in wrestling have a really bad track record.
It didn't help that it was possibly the worst stable roster of underlings since JBL's cabinet.

Absolutely stupid.
The original Nexus felt like they had a purpose, albeit one that eventually fizzled out without much explanation.
Punk's group felt like a bunch of lousy misfits who no one cared about.
Then again, Nexus DIED the moment they did the stupid shit to knock Darren Young out of the group. Totally stupid from that point on.

Like a-lot of things in the 'E, slight potential that imloded into nothing. I liked the reveal, I loved the t-shirt, but I hated that they seemed to never use the We Are One song after he took over, which was a theme I liked, and it really f***ed things up with the group.

The Nexus vs. The Shield
Barrett/Bryan/Ryback vs. Ambrose/Rollins/Reigns

Nexus by that point was dead and having CM Punk be the leader was pointless.

Totally stupid from that point on. I remember legitimately laughing out loud when Barrett said, after Young got kicked out and Tarver (legit looked like he wanted to murder people) and Sheffield (straight-up beast of a man) got injured... that adding Tubby Harris and Michael McSillyputty would make the Nexus "stronger than ever".

Horrible. The group was complete fodder for Orton leading up to WrestleMania, and aside from the night he joined by attacking Cena, it was a complete waste of everybody's time.
No wonder Punk wasn't going to resign by the summer.

I still to this day have no idea why so many people thought heel cult leader Punk was going to win the Rumble when The Miz was champion
