Mentioning unhinged and unstable people and not a one of you picked the Macho Man? Sheesh, that guy tried to kill Ricky Steamboat with a ring bell! Savage at his worst is up there. (He's no Mad Dog Vachon, but he's close.)

Chris Benoit.
Viscera, but only in No Mercy for the 64.

Heel Mark Henry was the first name to spring to mind before I clicked on the thread. Built like a tank, Predator dreads and facial expressions that screamed "I could fight you, your friends, your families and your dogs all at the same time, and I'd still win." I've also met the guy in person (albeit pre-Hall of Pain) and he's the sort of person who commands attention even if you don't know a thing about wrestling or know he's a star. Even in casual clothes he looks like he stepped out of a comic book and into real life.
Vader and Lesnar would rank highly as well, since they're pretty much genetic anomalies. Even with all the training and athletic history, you don't turn out looking like that much of a monster unless you're born that way.

From a kayfabe perspective, one guy who I think deserves recognition for this sort of thing is Mike Knox.
Late in his run when he played a monster heel, he really came across as a terrifying guy who would be an absolute nightmare to meet in a dark alley. This huge, hairy, unhygienic, slow-walking, lumbering, powerful guy who beat people up for no particular reason. If I saw him walking toward me on a darkly lit street, I'd run.
From an outside-the-ring perspective, Scott Steiner. I would be legit afraid to speak around him, for fear of setting him off; he just comes across as an impulsive, reckless, short-fused human being, and with muscles as huge as his, it's even more frightening to potentially be the one who gets on his bad side when you're in the same room as him. He's like the human equivalent of a nuclear-armed unpredictable rogue nation; it has the power to do some serious permanent damage, and you have no idea what could set it off and make it cross the line.

Hmmm, I believe lives were in the hands of the guy I'm thinking of.

2001 Kane, or yeah Brock Lesnar, if I ever saw him in public at a meet and greet or whatever, I could just imagine he's rip whatever you want signing out of your hand and you'd be thrown through the building, just a complete beast.
