not watching this, if someone could give a round by round update, I'd be grateful From dave Light Heavyweight Championship - Jon Jones(205) vs. Daniel Cormier(205) A decent amount of boos for the challenger Cormier but more for Jones it seems. Loud reactions for both though. The did touch gloves. Round 1: They came to fight. Both throwing mean punches. Jones catches a leg kick and kicks out the other leg Cormier falls on his face a bit. Jones fails at a take down but was close. Jones with lots of high kicks that are blocked. Lands a straight left. Cormier coming forward at all times. Knees from Jones, and he throws that mean front kick to the knee. Jones with two good right hands to the body so far at least. Cormier landing rights and an uppercut in the clinch. Round ends with an uppercut from Cormier. Hard round to call. Jones for the take down and landed more on the feet. Round 2: Jones tried for a guillotine but Cormier was able to escape. Jones pinning Cormier against the fence and kneeing to the thighs. Cormier with his own guillotine attempt. Cormier is throwing some body kicks in there. Jones landed a pretty nasty push kick to the knee. Clinching in the middle of the ring. Some dirty boxing from both. Trading strikes. Jones with short elbows. Cormier throwing uppercuts. Cormier landed a hard right on the break from the clinch. Cormier's round.

Jon's style of "poking people in the eyes" has finally came out.

Cormier stole that round at the end. If Jones lets his striking go he was doing well, he's gotta use that reach.

That late flurry and failed jumping whatever by Jones may have given the round to DC... Think Jones barely edged it though. 2-1 Jones.

Round 3: Jones seems tired. Cormier gets inside and lands more uppercuts. Jones with a left to the body. Cormier still going forward. Cormier got poked in the eye. Nasty left kick to the body after restart followed by an attempted take down by Jones then one by Cormier. Dirty boxing, Cormier with an uppercut. Then a few digs to the body. Jones reverses and pushes Cormier against the fence. Nice left elbow by Jones before they break. Jones just tried to jump guard and the round ends with Cormier on top. Cormier's round.

Round 4: Jones looks really tired now. Jones landed a left high kick to Cormier's head that he seemed unhurt. Jones took Cormier down twice against the fence. Now Cormier is on his back. Jones just holding him down then lets him up to throw strikes. Clinched against the fence with Jones just holding him. Finally, throws a couple punches and a left elbow on the break. Round ends with Jones throwing Cormier down against the fence. Jones' round.

49-46 across all the cards. Pretty fair and a damn different fight. Cormier was game but now all we need is Bones/Gus 2 or Bones/Rumble and then we get the HW superfights.
