4-1 Jones.
DC catching him(and Herb) after the bell was scummy, though.

Wow they gave Bones 4 rounds. I gave him four as well. Not exactly crazy.

Glad Bones beat DC. And now I don't have to listen to him talk crap anymore.
2 rounds were almost to close to call, so they go to the Champ, with round 2 (I believe) being the only clear win for DC.

I had it 49-46 like the judges - Cormier won Round 2, but couldn't get inside Jones, and couldn't keep up with him cardio-wise. Not a total mismatch, but Jones' obvious advantages going in told in the end, and Cormier couldn't take him down.
And thankfully they're not suddenly friends, Jones taking glee in beating the man.

So did it live up to the hype I think it was a good fight, but an entire night of coma-inducing boredom put me in a mood that didnt let me enjoy it as much as I should have. Definitely not a classic, and I don't think it will be anywhere near FOTY lists come the end of this year.

4-1 Jones. DC catching him(and Herb) after the bell was scummy, though. That's because Jones pulled a cheap shot raising his hands and then taking a swing at DC when his hands were down. DC firing back wasn't a cheap shot. Not that it mattered though, Jones won decisively. I knew there was going to be problems when they confirmed Jones had a one-foot reach advantage. When you give up all that size and reach to Jones, your chances of victory are slim. You start pounding on him, Jones just wraps you up. The only guy who was able to neutralize that was Gustaffson because of his size. To me, only a fighter with size and reach to (partially offset) Jones is going to have a chance at beating him. DC is not a big guy and that hurt him. Jones looked tired but was definitely better conditioned going into the championship rounds. Here's hoping Gus beats Rumble and sets up a rematch with Jones. I think Jones would win that more decisively than the first time but I think Gus is the only fighter in this division with a real chance at unseating Jones.

Lord that card was awful, but damn I thought the main delivered. DC was game, but it seemed midway through the fight that he just didn't have it in him. As much as I hate UFC's current obsession with rematches, Jones/Gus II is one I definitely won't complain about.
And Bones just needs to hurry up and go full on heel, he's a natural at it.

Went back and doubled checked it with the sound on, looked like Jones caught him on the bell. DC caught he and Herb after the bell. But like you said, wouldn't have mattered.

Cormier's best stretch was the last two minutes of the first round and through the second round. Towards the end of the third, Jones had really swung the momentum back in his favor for good.
Those kicks Cerrone landed at the end were brutal. I think Jury's thighs were purple and were swollen like huge lumps.
I did laugh at the Jones crotch chop at the end.

DC's good, but Jones handled him pretty easily. Decent fight, but not nearly as good as I'd have hoped.

You know, after he fights either Gus or Rumble or both, I think it's time for Jones to move up. What else is there left to do in the Lt. Heavyweight Division?
While it led to some funny soundbites, the McGregor interview went on WAY TOO LONG. It should have been two minutes but Rogan managed to extend it to 5-6. Would have saved a little time at the end of the PPV.
