I like TTG, but it kinda sucks that this is probably the last DC Cartoon series we're gonna see on Cartoon Network for a while. If TTG was an action show like its previous show and shows like Young Justice and Beware the Batman before it, it'd have to get not only amazing ratings but also sell tons of toys (neither of those shows did, which is why they were sadly yanked despite being awesome). Since it's strictly 11 minute comedy stuff though, it doesn't have to worry about any of that stuff, it's free to do whatever and just be funny without constantly worrying if they'll get another season.

Most likely because the prime demographic edges younger than probably every other of those shows that were mentioned, and younger kids are more likely to watch the same show over and over again at 6 pm.

I was gonna say Gumball is the Dean Ambrose of CN, because they always lose in the end. Gumball is more the Cesaro of the line up. It's really good and some people like it but it never gets over with the majority of fans for some reason and always takes a backseat. Steven Universe is Ziggler. Looks amazing when it's on but is rarely on the main card when it should be. And Uncle Grandpa is Triple H, for no reason other than Ric Flair was on the show (does this make Steph Realistic Flying Tiger?)

I don't care the reason I was just happy there was something I could marathon watch on Saturday when I was laid out sick It's not that Go is bad, or even disrespectful to the original or anything like that. It's just that the first Titans show was so damn good, it wouldn't be able to equal it through gags alone. It's funny because my brother who didn't like the action show watches the hell out of Go. Personally, I like both about the same for different reasons obviously... would like one of Cartoon Network's DC Action cartoons to actually stick around again though... Yeah, I remember my older sister didn't much care for the original show but she finds TTG hilarious. I don't mind it myself, just that a few episodes like that Waffles one tries a little too hard. If I had to guess why it's promoted so much, it's probably because this is the "Pet Show" of one of the Network Execs. Cartoon Network has a bad history of over-saturating shows; Johnny Test, The "Dudes" when CN Real was still a thing. Gumball is more the Cesaro of the line up. It's really good and some people like it but it never gets over with the majority of fans for some reason and always takes a backseat. Steven Universe is Ziggler. Especially with the lack of episodes and Adventure Time being their headline show and plenty of episodes to full blocks with. And just like Ziggler, I only kinda tolerate Steven Universe and have no idea where people get the idea that it is top tier from. And I'm salty over the lack of love for Gumball, just like with Cesaro.

I'm of two minds about it, on one hand I've giggled a couple of times at it, on the other, it feels really f***ing obnoxious sometimes.

When CN loves something, they will always push it to death.
TTG's downfall to me is it's best as light entertainment, and that can't carry 30 minutes. And it's not like being a kiddified version is an excuse, as Super Hero Squad was MUCH better and ended p appealing to kids and adults.
