Sort of. The winter weather here in the Greater Phoenix Area is fantastic. With highs of 60's-70's, with no snow at all.
Scottsdale, in itself, is good, too. There's a lot to do there, good weather, lots of fun stuff.
It's just the traffic there always sucks and it's filled with fake-rich poseurs.

Have you ever seen a movie filmed in NYC and most of the cars are cabs? In Scottsdale, replace cabs with police cars. And what's amusing is that there is little to no crime rate. They basically are there just to pull people over and hope that you're drunk.

I've been to Mill Ave. and the Marketplace over in Tempe and I don't see nearly the amount of police there than I did the times I've been to Scottsdale. Especially on the 101. |

Small wonder, there is a lot of clubs and bars there. I've been to Mill Ave. and the Marketplace over in Tempe and I don't see nearly the amount of police there than I did the times I've been to Scottsdale. Especially on the 101. Mill ave surprsingly has a pretty awesome nighlife ( im liiving in Tempe currently ) this coming from a born and bred New Yorker - & I've paried everywhere from AC to MIA To Vegas - Mill ave is poppin |

It is a nice city, but I can't picture anyone saying "Geez, of all the cities I can go to on vacation, I'm going to Scotsdale." Anybody who comes here for vacation just says Arizona. I've never heard a person specifically say Scottsdale or even Phoenix. They lump all of the state together. But I noticed they all seem to go visit up in Sedona in the Verde Valley while they visit. |
