Depending on the day, these two range from transcendent film geniuses to outright cinematic embarrassments. Which do you like more, the Austrian Oak or the Italian Stallion?

Love them both, but Arnold wins this for me.

I voted for Sly, since I like more of his movies than I do Arnie's.

I think Arnie had more good movies, but Sly's peak with Rocky and Rambo were higher than Arnie's peaks with Terminator I&II and Predator.

I gotta go with Sly just cuz he can do more besides act. The man can write and direct. Arnie's probably been in more fun films, but Sly's been in the only legitimately great--in all phases-- movie (Rocky) between the two of them.

Sly baby. My weakness for Italians.
Plus, Rocky is the shit.

Arnie's highs (Terminator I/II, True Lies) beat Sly Stallone's highs (Rocky), so I take him. Plus, his middle work is better and Sly Stallone having Rocky be 5'11 is f***ing ridiculous given how he's only 5'6.

Arnold got to be in Predator, Terminator, Total Recall, Commando, Conan the Barbarian, Running Man and Kindergarten Cop. The dude had a great agent.
Stallone had some good movies as well, but he mostly lived and died by the sequels.

For Stallone, I mostly like the early Rocky movies.
For Arnold, there's Terminator 1 & 2, Predator, Total Recall, True Lies, and Running Man.
I gotta go with Arnold.

Arnold. The only thing I ever liked Stallone in was the last Rambo, and only that was because of all the gratuitous violence.

Not enough love in this thread for Cobra, Over the Top, or Demolition Man.

I'm a HUGE Arnold mark so it's easy for me. I love the Rocky movies and Rambo was great but I'd watch Running Man or Total Recall over those any day.

My two childhood heroes along with Hulk Hogan and later, Steve Austin. Too hard to choose.

On another note Stallone has made a remarkable amount of stinkers, abortions and abominations and yet still managed to remain Hollywood royalty. So respect to the man.

Arnie's poor films are few and far between and even the bad ones are very memorable.
Stallone on the other hand has pure awful forgettable films under his belt mostly between 1995 & 2003.
So Arnie has my vote.
