I hope they bring back Kickin Wing. Actually, f*** Joe Dirt 2. Make Kickin Wing 1. I thought he changed his name to Kickin Ass.

Has there been any sequel that's come out more than a decade after the original film that's actually been any good? Dawn of the Dead Halloween H20 (I don't like it but it has its fans) Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 (I like it, but not everyone does) Escape from LA (it has its fans) Before Sunset ((9 years)People like it/the original/the third one, not really my thing, haven't seen them) The Before trilogy is a whole different animal, though. Also, they are all amazing. As for this movie...no. Just no. And f*** David Spade.

Joe Dirt's a bit of a guilty pleasure, but a sequel is absolutely unnecessary. It's hard to see it not following the path of Anchorman 2 or Dumb and Dumber To. Or even Son of the Mask or Dumb and Dumberer, really. Yeah, unfortunately I'm of the same mindset. This, like "Anchorman 2" and "Dumb and Dumber To" screams of a comedy sequel being released a decade after the original exclusively as a cash grab. And like the two you've mentioned, I fear they're going to take the original, remove all the charm and humor that made the first one good and instead take all of the character's worst and most grating traits and turn them up about a thousand decibels.

I liked Anchorman 2. Not as a guilty pleasure, I thought it was a good movie (of course not on par with the original, but whatever). I certainly wouldn't lump it with all of those aforementioned sequels.

I have the sinking feeling they'll somehow get Larry the Cable Guy involved in this film.

The first one's kind of trash but I can't help but enjoy it. Really can't see a sequel being anything but terrible, though.

Sorry, but Joe Dirt was just good, campy fun.
Not sure a sequel is needed, but I'll give it a shot.
