I watched a few TNG episodes today so it put me in the mood. I'll put my vote to that, though I haven't seen any of the shows in full (or really close to it) and I've not seen any of DS9 or the animated one.
And of course I opted to put in the option for Ogre, as he's a beloved member of our community. I've never actually seen that movie.

DS9 is the best, it takes a while to get really good, but those last 3 seasons were amazing.
it could have been TNG, but the show was hurt by those first two suckfest seasons.

TOS is my favourite but TNG is probably the best

TOS, if we're also counting movies. If we're counting just television, then TNG probably had more quality episodes than TOS, based on the fact that it was simply longer. However, I'd argue that the best of TOS TV series is better than the best of the TNG TV Series.

As an outsider looking in with feigned interest I voted for the Original.

TNG is the the overall best, DS9 is the most consistent in its quality, and Voyager is my favourite series. I like TOS, but the odd episode aside I didn't get into it until it hit the big screen.

Deep Space Nine is the best, by far.

DS9, easily. It really was kind of different from the other shows, both in concept and execution. None of the other shows could have even attempted a multi-season story arc in the way that DS9 did. The show's success, combined with Babylon 5, probably paved the way for the BSG reboot. Plus, this series gave me "Duet" and "In the Pale Moonlight". For that alone, the show would get my vote.
Voyager had a great concept, but it was lackluster. I just did not feel much connection to the crew. Strangely enough, I felt more of a connection when I read Voyager novels. I cannot explain it.
TNG had some great stuff in it, but it also occasionally got bogged down with some of Roddenberry's crap. It is probably not entirely a coincidence that the show got better as Gene's health started to keep him from being as involved as he might have liked. Still, every season had a few really good episodes in it and every season had a few stinkers.
I liked Enterprise at first, but I cannot help but to feel as though the show's front runners were always fighting Paramount and losing. The change in format after Earth was attacked just lost my interest. The mirror universe stuff on this series, however, was the most compelling mirror universe stuff.
I don't remember a whole lot of the Animated Series. I seem to recall that it did try to be a legitimate continuation of TOS rather than an adaptation for kids. They presented aliens that could be animated that would have been hard to do in the pre-CGI days for a live action show. I think it could have been very good, and for all I know it was. Then again, maybe I caught the only good episodes, sort of like how the original BSG seemed like it should have been amazing based on the original miniseries (really, I think it holds up well).
TOS was what it was. It certainly aimed to be better than its contemporaries, which it sort of succeeded. There are times where the limited budget showed in ways not related to the cheap sets and limited special effects, but other times the stories were pretty good. That, and the characters were ones that could easily be connected with, particularly the three leads (though I am a little partial to Sulu as well, and not just because all-around awesome guy Takei portrayed him). The show did have one of the more thought provoking shows on it (right up with the two DS9 episodes I mentioned).
Indeed.

TOS for me. Voyager has too many issues, and unlikable characters. DS9 just takes too long to get going and I found any Bajoran related story to be dull. Next Gen is great but isn't quality for every episode. TOS has the same quality for its three seasons and you can't go wrong with William Shatner

Next Gen for me, but mainly because growing up many in my family were colossal Trekkies (a couple still are) and that was the show I sat around and watched with them the most often. I'd always mark out for anything involving Data or the Borg.

TNG for me And Enterprise doesn't exist You say that, but it's the only one that's still in continuity for some bizarre reason.

Between TNG And DS9 for me as it's a tough call, as each did things differently.
TOS and TAS are good but also in some ways a product of their time (the mini-skirts for all females, space hippies, etc).
VOY I liked some I saw, but it did have its problems too.
Haven't seen enough of Enterprise to judge. Though I am tempted to watch the two-parter that explains the Klingon Forehead Ridge Discrepancy.

Next Gen is great but isn't quality for every episode. TOS has the same quality for its three seasons and you can't go wrong with William Shatner Season 3 was a pretty sharp drop in quality from S1 and 2, though it had a couple of good episodes here and there, especially The Enterprise Incident. Season 3 was also the NBC Screwjob and they lost some of their best writers/directors/producers like DC Fontana and Gene Coon on top of it. Unsurprisingly, Turnabout Intruder wasn't even close to being intended to be the series finale. Anyway, it's DS9 for me, then TOS and TNG. Voyager had a good episode here and there but overall it was pretty terrible. Enterprise got cancelled around the time it started to get consistently good, but it was just really bad for the first couple of seasons and it killed my interest. I blame Berman and Braga.
