I am considering getting this. I prefer streaming at this point and can live without the cable bill these days. My wife is finally on board with dropping service and streaming exclusively.
So for those of you, if any, who have it I have some questions.
How well does it run? What is the differences between the stick and the tv box? I can only find info on amazon and I don't find it as informative or objective as I like consumer reports to be.

I am so confused because when I say my name Gary Busey movies do not pop up. When reading this and getting to the "Gary Busey" part, the soup was on in the background and in total synchronization Joel said Gary Busey as I read it. That's a sign of some type right?

I think so. Basically like Roku it's good for if use Amazon Prime,Netflix or Hulu Plus to watch shows on. The one downside is if your internet provider is Comcast it doesn't allow Firetv for HBO Go. Also you have less music apps options compared to chrome or roku.

The box has a faster processor and a USB port. If you plan on sideloading - which you should totally do - the port is a must. A few things about sideloading:
- Load the FiredTV launcher from XDA as soon as possible. Not only does it replace the awful default interface, it forces all of the non-native Android apps into landscape mode.
- A keyboard, a mouse/touchpad and a USB hub are musts. Most Android apps won't function properly without them.
- The sideloaded apps are hit and miss. Your odds of success increase drastically if you're running FiredTV.
- As mentioned above, the default HBO app doesn't support Comcast. The Android app on the other hand...

What about running it while I am on the xbox one downstairs? IS it good with lag? I have the best non business internet available. Is this something that I should worry about?
