Why is it that Doc Brown looks pretty much exactly the same in 1955 and 1985? There's barely much of a difference in 30 years.

Same Reason Arn Anderson looks pretty much the same from 1985 to 2015

Eh, Doc had the Arn Anderson/Patrick Stewart scenario where they looked like they looked 50+ years old in their in their early 30s, so after a time they just stopped aging.

BTTF triology is my favorite movie series of all time , however one thing that always bothered me was that part 2 & 3 were totally unnecssary. Doc Brown could have told Marty to not be in the race in which injured his hand , & warn him about his children in the future .

People don't always age in a linear fashion. AA circa grade school in the 60's AA circa a few years ago Only slight difference is slight graying and he grows more body hair and nose hair as he gets older.

He looked younger in 1985 than Marty & Jennifer do this year.

The 1985 make-up job is very subtle, but it's there. 85 Doc has a lot of wrinkles and thinner hair.

I thought he looked older in 1955 than he did in 1985 in the original.

The thing that bugs me is, it's basically one movie. I mean, if I get the hankering to watch Part 1, you gotta watch 2&3 right then, the story isn't over. It doesn't seem right watching them stand alone.

He's got a time machine, he went to the far future after building it, got some anti aging technology, made out with 100 Jennifer Lawrence clones, went back to 1955, injected the anti aging nanobots stuff into his younger self, went back to the past, got a job as a judge in Toon Town, went back to the future after they're perfected microwave pizzas (something i'm still waiting on) saw the new Star Wars trilogy, went way way WAY into the future, saw the Detroit Loins win the Superbowl, went back to 1985 and saw the anti aging tech was still keeping him young and gave some to Arn Anderson in exchange for a 6 pack of New Coke. I mean, i thought they made it pretty clear in the movie...

Its simple, he's either a timelord or a wizard.

The title always bugged me.
I mean, how can someone go back to something that hasn't happened yet?
Am I the only one who notices this?
