Just to clarify something... I have nothing against EG. The two movies were better than I was expecting despite some faults. I guess my biggest problem is just that I wished it would establish a separate identity without having to let ponyverse characters appear They have already done things for that to happen (making Sunset Shimmer important, establishing that the humanverse Mane Five can use magic without Twilight around, introducing the actual humanverse Twilight at the end of EG2). But fudge that, let's have ponyverse Twilight again in the third movie.  |
