Crap like this is why TNA will always be TNA. There are actually people out there wondering why wrestlers aren't lnocking the door down to wrestle in TNA.

Dixie definitely pulled a big-time dick move, but I can't endorse Tara calling her the c-word and threatening to assault her either. That's just vile and unnecessary. If someone screws over an employee who spent several thousand dollars to help promote your event said person is indeed a massive c word and honestly I couldn't blame Tara for wanting to punch Dixie's lights out.

No, but guys, Dixie is really nice! It's a family business! Not like that mean old Mr. Vince! We care about our people!
Vince can be a dick, but he's pretty open about it.

6000 dollars is a lot of money especially if Dixie promised to pay it back and didn't.
Anyone who thinks Tara shouldn't be calling Dixie the C-Word after that needs to think about how they'd feel if someone robbed them of 6000 dollars.

Crap like this is why TNA will always be TNA. There are actually people out there wondering why wrestlers aren't lnocking the door down to wrestle in TNA. No matter the amount of horror stories we hear from former WWE wrestlers, there isn't a shortage of people wanting to come in. TNA on the other hand can't get quality folks who have plenty of career options to choose TNA instead. Dixie reminds me of MOM from Futurama. All sweet and motherly for the public but a ripe bitch behind close doors.

You know someone is a terrible person, when Tara out of all people wants to punch them out. I dunno how much of it is her being a terrible person and how much of it is her just being very very stupid, and very very sheltered most of her life. It's probably a combination of both.

It's mean but the first thought I had after reading the thread title was this: 'So, how long before Tara shows up in TNA again?'
I guess Kong surprised me after she called Dixie a 'ho bag' and ragged on her, only to return recently. I hope more talent stick to their guns when it comes to leaving a promotion that mistreated them, be it TNA or WWE or any other.

Here's the thing. I work for a firm who are scum. They lie and mislead in order to take money out of the pockets of the staff who work for them. I have been taken for a ride by them before, and have just served my notice to leave. FOR THE SECOND TIME.
Yep, I worked for them once before, and left because of the way they do business. But then later on, I was out of work, needed a job, and the turnover of staff with the company, coupled with the fact that they knew I'd do a good job for them, meant that I went back to work for them. Why? Because money. I needed work, I have bills to pay, and as much as I dislike pretty much everything about the company except for the actual job itself, they're constantly recruiting staff.
Even now as I prepare to leave them again, I would, if I had to, go back there if I absolutely needed a job. Nothing to do with principles or sticking to your guns - principles won't pay the rent, and I'd sooner look at myself in the mirror and feel like a sellout with a roof above my head, than look at myself with a clear conscience while sleeping in a dumpster.

She probably doesn't NEED a job in TNA like Kong did.

Again, Tara's absolutely right to be pissed. Dixie did some shady shit to her and she should get the heat. But nobody, especially another woman, should call another woman the filthy, disparaging word. And I'd chalk wanting to punch another person as a heat of the moment reaction. God knows I've wanted to punch people and punched my share of walls in my younger days, but that's not how you settle stuff (definitely not business dealings) in adultland. I'm not defending Dixie's actions at all. Just advocating for a more tactful world. Words hurt, hugs not drugs, the more you know and so forth. It's the most heated pizza-related exchange since Cornfed ate 3 slices at the last FAN game night without putting any cash in on the bill.

Why would you be tactful when you spent 6000 dollars of your own money to advertise your employers shows, don't get reimbursed and are asked to advertise a different pizza place as the best in Chicago? Me personally? 100%. I wouldn't be happy, but I'm not a name-calling type of person. Thread makes me want some pizza though.

Don't blame Tara for being pissed and quite frankly love her going off on Dixie but she got played by the best pimp in wrestling. Dixie has used and abused everyone from fans to wrestlers to her own parents to keep this company alive, Tara was just too naive. She gave them free publicity and even paid for things out of her own pocket expecting Dixie to appreciate it when she has never shown that to anyone, even people that broke their necks among other things for them. I hope she gets a chance to make true on her promise as well as put her energy into helping companies that deserve it or will at least say thank you.

Don't be shy Tara, if at some point you actually do it, you'll have my full support.
Although a good slap might be enough. In a way it's more humiliating.

The pizza thing is easy, TNA probably had a sponsorship deal in place with the other resturaunt. The 6k to promote... That's iffy. If she was asked to, then that's crappy. If she wasn't asked to, then she shouldn't expect to be reimbursed. I can go buy a $3000 computer system for work, but if it wasn't cleared by management beforehand, I guarentee they wouldn't reimburse me. Unless it was a major deal, why would you promote a business competing with one of your own people? If it was Pizza Hut, sure, but if it's another local one, you're just causing headaches for yourself. WWE didn't tell the wrestlers to promote any other BBQ sauce when JR started his. And as for the promotion, well, considering she was literally getting more people in the door and making them money, I think she has a right to feel entitled to something, especially if she was promised so after the fact. Dixie said she'd give her money, and didn't, it wasn't cleared by management before no, but management knew and said they would compensate her then went back on their word. It's the buildup of all these unprofessional moments that make people get angry about it.

I've always had a soft spot for ol' Victoria/Tara/Helmet Lady.
And while I think this may go too far for some with Tara wanting to punch Dixie Carter, I look at it like this; when you devote $6,000 of your own money to help a company out by giving them good publicity, which can help in ticket sales and merchandise buys, and not only do they not say "thanks", but go around and praise somebody that probably spent $0 on them (plus don't even give you any money back later for this)... you have every right to be pissed off about the matter.
