Kenseth wins New Hampshire after Kevin Harvick runs out of fuel with three laps to go. It means that the best driver this year needs to win Dover of is out of contention for the title. Well done Mr France. A guy that raced half the season actually has a chance to win the championship, and people complain about this? Is this supposed to be shocking to people? I was bitching about this on Twitter when KyBu was locked into the chase, and people acted like I was the dick. It wasn't, and isn't a personal attack on Kyle; I hate him as much now as ever. Rather its an indictment of the entire system.

Reports are saying that Tony Stewart will retire after the 2016 season. And the rumors from a few weeks ago have Clint Bowyer taking over the 14 in 2017. Not sure his 2016 work though I have heard part time with JR Motorsports in Xfinity, splitting time with Tony in Cup or some combo of both. EDIT: FOX Sports is reporting that Stewart-Haas has called a Wednesday press conference to announce Stewart's retirement and Bowyer's plans.

Bowyer's with HScott for next year, then onto Stewart-Haas. HScott's quietly coming up the ranks but it's good to have teams moving up as other teams die out.
Still surprised that MWR completely fell apart like it did, but that team was never the same after spingate.
You know it's bad when Aaron's is completely bailing out.

Kevin Harvick gets all like "Me eliminated? Screw that noise!" and wins at Dover! McMurray, Johnson, Menard and Bowyer are eliminated from The Chase.

Kevin should change his nickname from The Closer to The Clincher. When he needs to win in the chase he nearly always does. Gutted for Jamie Mac though, but good to see him and Jr so sporting after the race.

It's Bathurst 1000 weekend here in Australia, and it'll be without it's defending champion Chaz Mostert after this massive qualifying crash that also injured five trackside marshals...
Mostert is in hospital now with suspected leg and wrist fractures. The car that was to be co-driven with Cameron Waters is not going to take the start on Sunday.

And more carnage over in Russia, with a monster crash for Carlos Sainz Jr in F1 practice...

That was a worrying crash with it taking a while to get him out and they also mentioned that the aerial was damaged so the team didn't have the radio contact with him. He's fine, but I can't see him racing tomorrow.

Typical Sunday at Bathurst so far. Four seasons in one day, big accidents & controversy.

And it's one for the veterans, with the Lowndes/Richards pairing taking their 6th and 4th Bathurst 1000 win respectively.

Rosberg retires early from the race... That could be the championship sealed for Hamilton.

Rosberg retires early from the race... That could be the championship sealed for Hamilton. Hamilton 302 Vettel 236 (-66) Rosberg 229 (-73) Raikkonen 129 (-173)Yep, it's pretty much over. Vettel has moved into second ahead of Rosberg. Unless Hamilton has terrible luck in the remaining 4 races, he's taking the title. Mercedes will probably take the constructors title at the next race (unless Raikkonen gets a punishment that knocks his finish down to 8th or lower, in which case they've already got it).

Raikkonen penalised 30 seconds which puts him down to 8th and Alonso gets a 5 second penalty for exceeding track limits which bumps him down to 11th.
Mercedes win the constructors title.

That ending was nuts. I'm glad Checo and Force India got on the podium for a change.

It's a packed Sunday of F1 at Austin, with qualifying in the morning before the race in the afternoon due to a rain delay.

Rosberg on pole for later this afternoon (hopefully) after qualifying is cut short due to the weather.
There were lots of spinners but surprisingly only Sainz went out from crashing, although Vettel did tap the wall.

Hamilton wins and takes the driver's title for the third time.
It was a great race with battles all the way though the pack, including the front runners.
