Yeah, looks like another season of Mercedes curbstomping everyone, me thinks. Ricciardo's going to be wringing the neck of this Red Bull car just for decent points, let alone competing for a podium.

Looks like its going to be another Mercedes dominated year
Williams and Ferrari currently battling for best of the rest.
I hope Mclaren sorts out their issues soon, will they ever be a winning team again?
When we get to Abu Dhabi in November I suspect it will either be Hamilton celebrating his 3rd title or Rosberg becoming only the 2nd son of an F1 world champion (Keke Rosberg 1982) to become champion himself. The only one for now being Damon Hill son of Graham Hill

And McLarens season keeps getting worse. Magnussen doesn't even make it to the grid.
Kvyat's stopped too.
We're down to 15 before the race even starts.

Formula One is a huge f***ing joke! Only 15 cars start the race, 11 finish. The cars sound like misfiring tractors and the lap times are 12 seconds slower than they were a decade ago. The world champion isn't even running the number 1 on his damn car. What is this? f***ing Nascar?!

Well done Lewis ... I think the English sports fans needed that.

Everybody gets points! (apart from Button). Wonder what Alonso is thinking about his move now?
I was impressed with Nasr.
My (unsurprising) prediction for the title is Lewis. The only person who has a realistic chance of stopping him is Rosberg, but I just don't see him getting the job done.

Outside of half the field dropping out of the race and Sauber's performance, quite the boring race. Also, if I were Kimi Raikkonen, I'd be strangling my team right now for letting the car out of the pits with the left rear loose. It especially sucks since he was flying previous to that second pit stop.

State of this Series.. Still good to see Lewis kick off where he left. and well done to Sauber, Both Drivers in the first Race scoring Points after Failing to score a single point Last Season.. But yeah, not got my hopes high at all for this season. On the plus side, BTCC is only 3 Weeks away

Because of F1's new car number rules, each driver keeps a number for his entire career (regardless of team driven for), and the champ may choose to use the #1 but is not required to. I hope Mclaren sorts out their issues soon, will they ever be a winning team again? I said this about Williams after the BMW era ended, now look at them, they got a fluke win with Maldonado and now have a legit chance at winning a couple this year.

Because of F1's new car number rules, each driver keeps a number for his entire career (regardless of team driven for), and the champ may choose to use the #1 but is not required to. I know the rules say you can choose your own number now but even in the 70's & 80's when that rule was also used EVERY driver that had the option ran with #1. It's supposed to be a badge of honor you work your whole career to get on your car, not just another number, it was a privilege to have it & as far as I'm concerned Hamilton has spat in the face of tradition. And as for F1 being the best racing in the world I respectfully disagree. 10 years ago, maybe even 5 years ago I would have absolutely agreed but today it isn't. F1 has always been about pushing the limits of the man & machine. The F1 I remember as a kid the commentators, the drivers, the engineers they were all talking about being on the limit, running at ten tenths. The radio chatter with the drivers was all about how fast they could push. Now its all about conserving fuel, looking after the tyres that is not the F1 I grew up loving, staying up until the early hours of Monday mornings watching. I agree that the drivers are the best drivers in the world but they are hamstrung by the technology. It's like making Usain Bolt run the 100m wearing flippers & a suit of armor. I get that we can never go back to the days of the 70's, 80's & early 90's when the sport was ridiculously dangerous however they need to go back to how it was in the late 90's & early 00's. V10 engines, slick tyres, refuelling pit stops that is what F1 should be all about, not having cars running at 70-80% of the limit because they can't carry enough fuel to run at 100%.

The champ Kevin Harvick wins in Vegas! And Again in Phoenix (where he ALWAYS wins). I'm not used to my favorite in any event becoming the unstoppable, dominant force. I don't know how to feel about this.

With the IndyCar season just ten days away, initial aerokit testing is looking good. 21 of 23 drivers testing at Barber had times faster than Will Power's pole speed from last year. Looks like 24 full time drivers this year, including Carpenter/Filippi splitting the #20 and assuming de Silvestro ends up with a full season with Andretti, up from last year's 22. I'm kind of hyped for this season.

I want to be able to have a Pennsylvania driver to root for.

What's kind of sad is that even though Sage Karem is 100% Nazareth PA born and raised, people have STILL been complaining that his name "doesn't sound American enough".
Pretty sure that's just old timers wringing their hands looking for something to kvetch about, though.

I want to be able to have a Pennsylvania driver to root for. Karam is going to have work really hard to be less likable than Marco. What's kind of sad is that even though Sage Karem is 100% Nazareth PA born and raised, people have STILL been complaining that his name "doesn't sound American enough". Pretty sure that's just old timers wringing their hands looking for something to kvetch about, though. "wringing their hands looking for something to kvetch about" is a great way to describe most of the things IndyCar fans complain about.
