Brian's medical issues have just been so frustrating as a fan of his and I'm sure he feels the same way. Unfortunately I feel like if anything he's going to wind up having to permanently stay out of the car since the incidences of the blood clots seem to be more and more frequent. Which sucks since he's always struck me as having a ton of untapped potential and talent despite the fact that he's been around the Cup series for a comparatively long time now.

As much as I hate Kurt, he got robbed there.
He was leading when Biffle wrecked after the white flag waved. The caution should've came out then and there, ending the race. I hate that they do this. You can't wave the yellow flag after the white flag if you feel like it or not. You make the rule and stick with it.
People compare NASCAR to Pro Wrestling. With crap like this, it's hard not to disagree with them.

With crap like this, it's hard not to disagree with them. I think they should change the G-W-C rule to where any time the caution comes, you do it again. Then there's no debate about when to throw the yellow, when to race back to the line, etc. Daytona, you have a crash on the backstretch and they throw the caution. Here, spin at the line, and no caution. I get that Biffl drove away, but that is never a factor during the body of the race. As soon as there's a spin, they throw a caution. Why should it be different here? I'm just sore at Biffle for getting in the way by not pitting during the last stops, the blocking Junior, causing a bottle neck and Larson' rear to fall off. Stupid Biffle.

Lewis Hamilton gets another pole, he'll start 1st for the Malaysian Grand Prix. But it looks like Ferrari is ready to fight Mercedes as Sebastian Vettel will start 2nd, splitting the Mercedes drivers.

Penske sweeps the top four spots for the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg with Power on pole. No surprises there. Honestly, I think the IndyCar title is gonna cone down to those four Penske guys. Hopefully, JPM is the one who can win the title this season.

Malaysia was more fun than Australia. Vettel becomes the first non Mercedes winner in a long time, was it a one off or are we actually going to have another team that can challenge for the title this season? Raikkonen did well to finish 4th after getting a puncture after the pit entrance on the first lap. McLaren's season continues to be terrible with neither car finishing. The two young Toro Rosso drivers continue to impress, both finishing in the points.

I hope this race wasn't just a one off and we can actually see a fight between Mercedes and Ferrari for the rest of the season.

Montoya won at St. Petersburg today, holding off Will Power in 2nd. Penske had four of the top-five, with Tony Kanaan in 3rd breaking things up.

This has been an very strange year so far in terms of driver injuries and such. You got Vickers out for blood clots again, everything that happened with Alonso, Sage Karem injuring himself during Indycar testing... Hopefully whatever was wrong with Larson isn't anything serious.

Business as usual at the Chinese qualifying, Mercedes 1-2 with Vettel best of the rest. How can McLaren be so bad? The only people they qualified in front of were the Manor cars.

McLaren has almost been comically bad this year. For whatever reason Honda's major racing developments have all seemed to miss the plot lately. I know it's early for all of them really, but it's still kind of a lousy start across the board.
1. McLaren, as established 2. The Honda LMP2 effectively being withdrawn for further development after just the Rolex 24 3. The Honda Indycar Aerokit being seemingly quite far behind the Chevy, though this is the item on this list most subject to change.

Not the most interesting Chinese GP although there was some fun battles in midfield. Verstappen had another good race, overtaking people unexpectedly. He reminds me of someone who was doing the same thing a few years back, might have been Kamui Kobayashi. Kimi's radio is always amusing. This week he was mostly shouting at back markers to get out the way. Lewis and Nico have found another thing to argue about, with Rosberg thinking Hamilton was driving slower than he could have on purpose. Bahrain up next. It's probably my least favourite race of the year. Finally, I just have to acknowledge how great this movable camera on the car is.
