Mike: generally unlikable, arrogant, seems to think he's playing like one of the all-time greats Man, IDK what show you're watching but Mike is awesome and Dan was a fat bastard who thought he was this awesome, sophisticated character.

I haven't seen a single likable thing about Mike all season. And it gets worse every week.

Admittedly I didn't like Mike either until the episode where he went rogue and the other scumbags turned against him. Then he became awesome. Dan's sucked since soundbyte 1. Will's sucked almost as long. Sierra is furniture, Rodney I tolerate, and Carolyn sucks, but at least is a capable gamer.

That was one of the most deliciously satisfying boots in a long time. Right up there with Baylor getting blindsided last season. Marvelous.

phenominal. But I'll say this about Dan. I'd vote for him over Rodney/Will/Sierra but maybe there is more to Sierra's game than her edit shows. Really hope Mike goes on an immunity run to win it. Besides Fabio, history shows that the challenge beasts have difficulty getting that last win.

Awesome ending. You suck, Dan. Take your hairy ass and get lost. But when did Shirin get so attractive?

I'd rather not ever see Dan again. He's not a villain you love to hate or a villain for having a cutthroat play style. He's not even an ironic villain like Coach the first time. He's a guy you just want to go away. He seems like the type of guy who leaves a wall of text with his opinion on any Facebook post that even somewhat relates to what he's talking about.
If anyone from this season comes back to play the villain, it should be Vince or Rodney.

I can see Rodney, I've been rooting Rodney since day one
Why would one consider Vince a villain?

fair enough I suppose, as I'm the lone survivor fan in the world holding out hope for a future Russell Hantz return and victory Wbat season was he? I'll watch and I may join you samoa, heroes vs villains, and redemption island. Made it to the finals twice but lost out because they resented him. A bit arrogant but he did a lot to get himself far, and he was always in the minority alliance and never had numbers . I think his game in Samoa was innovative and the fact that he lost to someone who is about equivalent to Sierra this season is still highway robbery. In Heroes vs Villains he still did a lot to get out of numbers trouble, but his smug personality and poor social game was more apparent as he threw unesseccary jabs at other people, and backstabbed a lot. (I still say Parvati should have won over Sandra.) He is the most notorious "villain" (in the gameplay sense) besides Richard Hatch. People don't like him, but before his performance in Samoa my interest in the show was wearing thin. Starting at around Cook islands the game changed dramatically. They usually only had 16 contestants, final two, merge at 9 with a 7 person jury, and no overexposure of hidden immunity idols. In the good old days just making the merge was a significant accomplishment. Now it doesn't seem that hard if you don't make any boneheaded mistakes or show any signs of stupidity. I totally missed out on Fiji and Tocantins because I just wasn't into it. But Hantz if nothing else, got me back into it full force. Never saw someone play like him in the new era, and for all his and his families faults, I can't hate on him

Ugh, I hate not being able to watch live during spring seasons. Anyway, here are my thoughts: www.rickey.org/survivor-worlds-apart-review-my-word-is-my-bond-brings-unprecedented-tribal-council/281014/There's a certain poetry in such a powerful, first-time game advantage being absolutely wasted by a guy without the game-savvy to play it right. The move would have been to have Rodney and Will vote Sierra, while he spent his two votes on Mama C. Then, they'd get Sierra out on the re-vote. Of course, this plan working would be predicated on Dan knowing Carolyn had the idol. But if you know it's your head on the chopping block if the plan fails, it's smarter to be safe and split the votes anyway. From his time on the island, Dan should have known that if anyone would have an idol they didn't tell anybody about, it'd be Carolyn. But, then again, the more I think of it, the more I realize that not even the vote split would have worked since Dan and Sierra would have been prohibited from voting on the revote. Thus, Will and Rodney vote to keep Dan around, and Mike and Carolyn still vote to ax Dan. A second tie means rocks. And with Mike and Carolyn immune due to their respective idols, the drawing pool shrinks. Are Will and Rodney really going to let their game life get snuffed out on a one-in-four purple rock draw? Come to think of it, they probably would without knowing, assuming someone would flip. And hey, who knows? Maybe Carolyn decides to vote against Sierra for voting against her, realizing that with advantage now neutralized, Dan has been essentially de-fanged and can stick around. Ultimately, what I'm saying is that forces aligned in such a way that Dan going home was the ONLY possible result, because his plan working would have required him to lull Carolyn into a false sense of security so she wouldn't play her idol. And even if he had the skill to do that, the idea to do it would have been predicated on knowing she had the damn thing. And once he played his advantage? There was no way she WASN'T going to play her idol. Dan's elimination tonight was positively inevitable, from the moment Mike won immunity.

You have to say something for Will's cruise control. He'll make final 3 easily because everyone forgets he's there.

Y'all see that Rodney's been posting more of his impressions on his Twitter account? His Max impression is dead on. The video was filmed in the dark, and if I didn't know it was Rodney, I definitely would've believed it was Max.

Boston Rob, Richard, Brian.... Boston Rob/Tony were more tweener like Punk/Jericho I agree about Rich and Brian also Jenna M in early years but after the huge backlash after Jenna M won winners get very protected edits. Boston Rob was no heel the season he won. The AV Club described it best, Boston Rob was playing three dimensional chess while everyone else was playing duck duck goose.
