Again, what he did wrong was when he was given his time to shine, in a ring with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, world champions, he gave one of the worst promos ever and his catchphrase. To be a top guy, or even a midcard champion, you have to be able to handle a live mic. Ryder couldn't. He sucks.

Why don't they just release him? Because he still had value. He could tell his story and get payed well by other companies. Now that he's damaged goods, he'll be worth nothing on the aftermarket. |

Man, I can't wait to see all the reactions on here if Ryder ever gets released.
Obviously I don't want that to happen since it sucks anytime someone loses their job, but oh boy the FAN would be in full motion that day.

There won't be some huge outcry as the WWE have managed to successfully do exactly what they set out to do the moment he started getting chants, completely devalued him in the eyes of his fanbase. A few people will be pissed, but most will say 'Good' or 'Why did it takethem so long?' |

When's the last time he was on TV? I forgot all about him. Last time he had a match was the beginning of November, when he jobbed to Rusev on Raw. This is assuming that he hasn't been in any segments since then, which is a pretty good probability. Last time he won a match was when he beat Heath Slater on a Superstars taping in October. Last time he won a match on a main show was in July, when he defeated Fandango on Raw (I believe with the help of Layla and Summer Rae). |

I remember as little as six months ago there was a weekly thread about Ryder that would go to about four pages, half of the comments saying he sucked and was exposed, the other half saying he was unfairly fed to Kane and made to look weak.
Now? Three pages of "LOL Ryder."
It's an improvement.

It's pretty sad when people have forgotten Ryder was injured and that's why he's not been around since November. Although he said on his Twitter he'll be back soon.

I won't say the company is blameless here, but the fact Ryder was never a great talent to being with, nor did he do anything to help his situation after his push did him no favors either |

I can only imagine the damage to morale Ryder's treatment caused on the lower/midcard roster.
All bullshit about getting yourself over, making yourself a star, not relying on management to do it for you etc.....
All exposed as complete and utter bollocks.
