I would love for them to be: Tyson Kidd Cesaro Kofi Kingston Big E Xavier Woods Surprise entrants: 8 Randy Orton Sheamus Sami Zayn (Owens comes through the crowd and eliminates him, both brawl out of the arena) Adrian Neville Finn Balor (who says there can only be one NXT guy!  ...Vince probably but still!) Rhyno or Tajiri Bully Ray D Von Plenty of fresh faces and tasters of the main audience of NXT talent and feuds (note: I wouldn't debut them on main roster after, this would just be to showcas Zayn, Balor, Owens and Neville before the next NXT Takeover in February. Plus IMAGINE Finns entrance once the clock strikes 0, with all the music/his poses). Plus a sprinkling of ECW talent that can still go and would be great to see in a WWE ring again, in any capacity. Plus the return of main event players in Orton and Sheamus. This is all hypothetical and optimistic thinking on my part, and we/I would class myself as lucky if we can get even one of them surprises that I listed (especially the list starting after Sheamus). One can dream right? Hell it's the Rumble, anything can happen and stranger things have happened... |

WWE Legend: hopefully not Slaughter or Duggan or even Piper etc.

Surprise return: Possibly Orton
Another thing to keep in mind is just because some are announced doesn't mean they will definitely be in it, last year Xavier was announced to be in the rumble and he never was, I know those 2 Matador guys Fernando and Alonso are announced but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't show up.

How about this, Bubba's the first entrant, and then D-Von's right behind him and he's bringing a table. I could see it being setup outside the ring and a guy taking a bump into it. I just wonder if they could potentially do so without their feet touching the floor. Seems risky to count on, though. Sets up for Kofi's "I'm not touching the floor" spot. |

Maybe an NXT guy popping in. Like Neville or Breeze. Hell, Kalisto would be pretty sweet.. Kalisto is awesome, I'd love to see him in there. I don't understand why they brought Sin Cara up to work more main roster shows, but didn't bring Kalisto with him, especially considering they need more tag teams. |

I just hope they dont do the joke entant spot again with the commentators. It was funny the first timt they did it but they then had Booker T, Michael Cole and JBL all enter from the announce table only to last two seconds. I would much rather see Bubba and Devon enter and maybe start a feud with someone leading to wrestlemania (if the New Age Outlaws can be tag champions and compete at wrestlemania in 2014, then the Dudley Boys should be given the chance to compete at this years wrestlemania)

On the Grantland Cheap Heat podcast, they were discussing the usual fan-favorite rumors in terms of the kind of pops they'd get...so I'll play along here. Shelton would get a pretty big one in Philly I think. As for Carlito, they seemed to think he would get a bigger reaction from the crowd...which got me thinking. - One thing I think would be kind of cool is if Rusev was destroying the Matadors, maybe he has them both in the accolade for quite some time, when Carlito's music plays at the end of countdown. Anyway, I think the Dudleys would be tough because it would only be one at a time It was said on Superstars that the Matadores, Gabriel and Fandango are in the rumble. |

It was said on Superstars that the Matadores, Gabriel and Fandango are in the rumble. I'd heard that, but only Fandango got added to the participants list on WWE.com. Only sort of related but I don't like knowing who will be involved. Like, you can guess but knowing most of the names takes some of the fun out of it. Jinder's anti-pop wouldn't have been as grand if we saw it coming. |

Getting this out of the way first... 13 spots vacant with no shows left to go? Seriously, 'E? That's a bad oversight right there. Uh, no it isn't, it's a deliberate choice. I like not knowing who's going to be in it. If the roster is bigger than the Rumble leave it to be a surprise. I don't want to just not know who's coming out when, I want to not know who's coming out at all. Obviously some of the field should be revealed but let's keep some mystery. |
