On the Grantland Cheap Heat podcast, they were discussing the usual fan-favorite rumors in terms of the kind of pops they'd get...so I'll play along here.

Shelton would get a pretty big one in Philly I think.
As for Carlito, they seemed to think he would get a bigger reaction from the crowd...which got me thinking.
- One thing I think would be kind of cool is if Rusev was destroying the Matadors, maybe he has them both in the accolade for quite some time, when Carlito's music plays at the end of countdown.

Anyway, I think the Dudleys would be tough because it would only be one at a time

If the Dudleys are in this Rumble, I'll mark myself into a coma. The only thing holding that back is that the second Dudley wouldn't be a surprise and that'd be a letdown.

I can see Rob Van Dam being a surprise entrant. A Dudley would blow the roof off the building though.

Despite some of them making a joke of the match and what's at stake, I still mark pretty hard when we get a surprise or 2 every Rumble.

You say this like it hasn't been a foregone conclusion since basically the week that the announce team took notice of the Bunny with the Rosebuds that eventually, the Bunny would be in the Royal Rumble this year.

Counter this by having Bubba enter first, in there with a few guys and an over heel like Rusev, who has a back-and-forth with him for a minute or so and is about to eliminate Bubba only for the very next entrant to be D-Von. Great solution.

And I'm pretty convinced Rollins is going to end up in the Rumble as long as the title match doesn't headline and he doesn't win. So he'll likely get a spot and be in the final 4... or be eliminated toward the end by Randy Orton.

I could see it being setup outside the ring and a guy taking a bump into it. I just wonder if they could potentially do so without their feet touching the floor. Seems risky to count on, though.
