I was watching yesterday and thought the guy knocking on Phillips was Corey Graves for some reason.

Well you guys are smarter than me. You figured out the puzzle before I even knew about it. I feel like such a n00b. I'm now interested to see what Solomon Crowe is all about.

I dig Corbin's look and 'End of Days' is a pretty novel, and swifty, finisher. The 'Bull' screamout in Dempsey's intro theme seems like it was set up for a piss-take; I'm half convinced I heard the inevitable 'shit'. Loved Zayn's fire. Bit perturbed about how relatable Owens is coming across. Yes, he's dastardly and underhanded, but he's only snooping for prize-fights to feed his family. That's not the most detestable attribute. Breaking Bad spoilers (all season-ish) Maybe a Walter White 'I did it for my family' shtick, perhaps? The contract signing as a whole could be a manifesto for NXT as a whole. Between Regal's meta-comment about how contract signings always end and Owens flicking the pen at Zayn, it's like "yes, this is sport entertainment, but you, as a viewer, will now appreciate the little things".

Is Buddy Murphy the first Australian to win a title in the WWE? And only two days after Australia Day at that! #BAM are just awesome! He's the first Australian to win a title in the WWE system since the official formation of the company in 1963 after they split from the NWA. The Fabulous Kangaroos had won the NWA United States Tag Team Championship in 1960 as part of WWE's predecessor, the Capitol Wrestling Corporation.

I keep saying it, but Buddy Murphy is gonna stay on WWE's radar in a big way. 5 years from now, the guy will already long be a big deal on the main roster.

A lot of people credit them as one of the main innovators of tag team wrestling as we know it, to the point that sometimes they're credited with having invented it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fabulous_Kangaroos

WWE is in such a weird place. I'm half happy that Emma is back in NXT but it's so frustrating too in that why are WWE picking these people up if they hardly even attempt to make it work? Emma had such a great act and she felt like such damaged goods in that segment, and now she seemingly has to pick up the pieces and find a new character even though her old one was fine until WWE f***ed it up. Just a sad taste of reality there.
It seems like the idea is for Corbin to kill the failed illusion that Bull Dempsey is some kind of ultimate badass. God bless them for trying but if you wanna change Dempsey up for the better put some pants on him, there's something darkly pornographic about watching him wrestle. His body is gross and I don't like seeing that much of it.
I love the tournament, I'm genuinely intrigued to see how Corbin works with Adrian Neville, and fully expecting Dempsey to cost Corbin the match, which is fine in this case because neither guy really need a clean loss right now.
That contract signing is gonna be a hard segment to top. Zayn and Owens were put on this earth to perform wrestling angles together, their chemistry is amazing and I love Owens' desperate need for money and wealth for his family. Regal's facial expressions are off the charts through the whole thing, and the fact that they successfully pulled off a contract signing without breaking tables or brawling is a testament to how amazing NXT is. Owens just throwing a pen at Zayn's eye was more compelling than most of WWE`s schmozz contract signings. Zayn is so likeable and Owens is such a prickly bastard that I seriously hated that they gave Owens the title match. I was perfectly fine going into the next PPV with that main event being non-title, Owens doesn`t deserve it yet.

I'd be shocked if Owens won thetitle already, they have to have some kind of schmozz finish, double DQ/countout or something

Man, episode started with a bang. Or, rather, a wub. Still, awesome to see Team Thick win the belts. Can definitely see Buddy Murphy being big in the future, dude's awesome. Although, I wish he'd bring back the shredded shorts. And I'm pretty sure the writing on their trunks is the same as most Misfits album covers.

Wow, the women's tag match was a car crash. I am writing it off to ring rust from Bayley but her and Sasha were like the infamous NXT2 season ending brawl together. Eek.

I can't believe Blake & Murphy went from jobbers to champs in 2 weeks. I mean that's seems like something Russo would do
Yeah I'm a bit peeved that the Vaudevillians didn't get the belts but even without that it sucks a little bit. If they'd made a storyline out of it thatd have been a bit better but man......
Loved the contract signing like everyone else. I both loathe Owens and get the reasons for his actions though I feel like maybe he should be a bit more unsympathetic but can't wait for their match
Love seeing Bayley be more aggressive and whilst I'm not a fan of Corbin and don't understand the E hardon for him, if they insist on doing this at least stick to having him squash people that really suck like Dempsey
