I don't know about her success right now. Not for any claims of her appearance like some of this were, but because of the actual onscreen focus. Lynch is pretty, she's talented- but of the Divas in anything resembling regular rotation in the Divas, she's the least interesting one by a mile. Even if it's just "she's not as interesting as Charlotte/Bayley/Sasha (the most "regular rotation" NXT Divas), it's one thing- but then you have Emma being sent down to NXT [where she was more interesting], plus Alexa/Carmella in the smaller rotation who are more interesting...heck, even Blue Pants has become more interesting than Becky, and she may not even have a contract yet.
Becky's good- she could be a great core Diva to help improve the less experienced girls as they take their place in rotation- but she needs to develop a personality before she can be successful- the 'uh, I GUESS she likes rock music' stuff we have right now doesn't really cut it.

If Cait is who I think he is, he's legit as legit can get. Most of you will look pretty damn foolish when, given his previous scoops all being correct, Becky wins the title on February 11th as he says.

I tried to explain this isn't a theory and I am source of NXT news. I've broken a lot of NXT stories the past 3 years. I am a disciple of both but PWInsider & Wrestling Observer's reporting on NXT is laughably deficient and scant. Takes Meltzer three months to report on new recruits after they have reported to the Performance Center. Meltzer's NXT section is largely made up by this blog: masonsringsideview.blogspot.com . The amount of stuff that goes unreported by them is scary. When's the last time Meltzer or Johnson wrote something as detailed as I did in this thread? Especially when it comes to how Becky is perceived and her role in the company? What's the last big story either reported about internal workings of NXT? NXT has been changing their booking a lot lately. But I did break the news about WWE signing Becky and her heel turn. On this week's NXT she was the one camera focused in on as the segment closed. |

As far as NXT goes:
Technician wise my heart belongs with Charlotte.
Overall character wise my heart belongs with Sasha.
Becky isn't an ugly woman by any means, but I think there are plenty of women as hot or hotter than her.
Not Charlotte though. Just sayin'
I just hope she evolves somehow and finds a persona that she's comfortable in so she can flourish.
She's great in the ring for sure, when she's allowed to be and has the tools.
She just needs some polish. If she wins over Sasha at the PPV I'm going to be a sad panda.

It isn't just her promos she breaks character often. Her selling and offence are pretty poor. Fans think a lot of things it doesn't make it correct. Check out her NXT Arrival match with Nattie. Charlotte barely did anything in the match and she still got praised. There's no real way of saying this without causing offence but in my experience astute fans have come round to the fact that Charlotte isn't very good at all especially compared to Sasha Banks. This and the constant "rocker signs" is why I don't think she will ever be successful. Corey Graves? The guy who most fans thought didn't have anything novel about him and was coasting on his association with CM Punk. |

So you are only quoting ONE match for your evidence? Have you seen any of the matches she had with Sasha? They were fantastic, because BOTH workers put in the time and the effort to make their spots look good, memorable, and they had great timing in their matches. And if Nattie is your prime example of a good worker for the females, you and I already disagree on all counts. |
