She's Irish, so Vince will probably love her. He pushed Hulk Hogan and Ken Shamrock as fake Irishman and pushed Finlay and Sheamus as real Irishman. Dude is proud of his roots and I think Finn Balor and Becky Lynch will benefit from it once on the WWE roster.

She's always been quite solid, but I think tonight was her best performance to date. I'd even argue that she did the best job in that fatal four way, or at least she looked the best in-ring wise. Though that's not to say the other three were slouches by any means.
I think that a year from now she'll be the top heel in the women's division on NXT. She just needs to refine her character a little more first.

I'm not going to get into it much but I will say that people who assume they know more than other fans are the worst kind of wrestling fans. I can't stand that. Just goes to show you that no matter how many sources, insider reports and sites you use, it can all end up useless when the matches play out. With that said.... Shoutout to my prediction that Sasha will be NXT Women's Champion. I loved it. It's cool to have your opinion, and to try and discuss it. But to talk down to people because you think you have information you don't have... yeeeeeah. Sasha Banks baby! Look at the language KN used in reply to me pages ago "voided out", "destroyed" and "debunked". I never went this far. When the four way was first proposed it was for the December Network special as it was thought Sasha and Charlotte didn't want to work with each other in a singles program as they have/had real life issues with each other. Becky beating Charlotte for the belt was a compromise finish basically. The post match last night played off Charlotte and Sasha's issues which seemingly have been worked out the last few months. You can chose not to believe that if you want but the post match did have real emotion between the two and wasn't something that comes from a scripted contrivance. Charlotte ain't that good of an actor! |

Of course cait, they changed everything last minute on you. Lemme ask you, where do you get all of this INSIDE information? Charlotte and Sasha hate each other. Both of them are going up to the main roster now. Officials are impressed with Becky and her hard work. Bailey wears yellow socks. All you do is spout definitive information and never have a single source to back a thing up - worse even, when you're debunked by results - clear and cold - you go off to another tangent to try and continue your charade? Back on topic,
I gotta praise Becky for her work in the match, she had some awesome spots.
Her suplexes and throws were on point, and looked great.
She had a nifty little submission sequence against Bailey in the beginning of the match, that ended up looking like a reverse figure four.
I liked her legdrops too, they looked really good.
She's definitely a great worker.

Sasha posted a major "spoiler" for her match a few days ago on her Tumblr about her gear last night matching the NXT title. After that I expected it her to win. What sources report on NXT in any real definitive way? Link me? I wish someone did rather doing my own diggning to be honest. Steveweiser vouched for me, my accuracy and breaking major stories in the past. I am just a fan who talks to a lot of people I've no pretenses to be anything more. The Sasha/Charlotte thing is hardly a tangent it is something what has been ongoing for about for about a year now. I don't get your mysticism over INSIDER information in 2015 it isn't 1985. I know a lot of NXT talent before they were in NXT/prefame wasn't something I sought out or cultivated. Back on topic, I gotta praise Becky for her work in the match, she had some awesome spots. I liked her legdrops too, they looked really good. She's definitely a great worker. Her matches are way better when the match is 50/50 or more. She is pretty commanding on offence. Most of her NXT matches hasn't played to her strengths - long, mid paced technical matches where she cheats and cheats until she gets caught by the referee which leads the way for the babyface to make their comeback with a lot of working the crowd verbally mixed in. That isn't very WWE and Becky has found a way to fully adapt to WWE ring style yet. But she's improving slowly but she's improving. |

Fantastic performance from all four girls.
Obviously I'm disappointed Becky didn't win but I'm sure Sasha will be a success as champion.
I love Becky, but she needs to stop doing that head banging and giving that hand gesture. When Lita did it, it looked natural. When Becky does it, it looks silly.

I said I was a disciple of the Observer and PWInsider's reporting. I will always defer to them when they report something. Which runs against this whole narrative you've constructed. You've done far more talking down to me than I have to you with all the "Voided out", "debunked" and "destroyed" and "Good luck responding" type talk and responses. You also keep bringing this topic up. I'll be respectful to you if you will be respectful to me. Simple as that. A WWE style gimmick that fits Becky and something that says "main roster" has been something that has been really elusive for her. This time last year I was really fretting that she was going to be cut as she was in limbo testing gimmick after gimmick with nothing working. She's such a square peg. Everything from business woman to a Princess Jasmine type character to her reading limericks from a limerick book that she would keep in a ringside corner where a babyface (Bayley) would steal it from her and get Becky angry. The grunge rocker thing is totally Becky's idea for better or worse. She has progressively toned herself down. Hopefully the ring gear change is a gear change for her persona too. |

The gear change was fine. A little less grungy than what she had before this.
While her current gimmick is a massive step up from the Irish stereotype she was playing it's still corny.
Becky has a great look and can go in the ring. She could lose the headbanging and she would be fine.
