4 primetime games for the Niners, more than I thought they'd get.
I'm surprised Cowboys vs Giants gets the opening Sunday game and Packers vs Seahawks is pushed to the 2nd week.

Wow, the Ravens get 5 primetime games.
Finally a little respect. That's all we've ever asked for.

I really don't understand people sometimes. The NFLPI released the list of who sold the most merchandise last year. I get most of the top sellers (Wilson, Manning, Brady, Rodgers, Sherman, Watt), but the #10 seller was Johnny Manziel. The following productive players sold less than a QB that managed a 5.1 QBR are as follows: Drew Brees (#12) Rob Gronkowski (#13) Shady McCoy (#14) Andrew Luck (#15) Clay Matthews (#16) Tony Romo (#17) Megatron (#19) Odell Beckham Jr. (#20) Ryan Tannenhill (#32) Matt Forte (#35) Joe Flacco (#36) Ben Roethlisberger (#38) Phillip Rivers (#44) AJ Green (#48) Gotcha. So I should only buy jerseys/merch of a player has great numbers and performs well. Never mind the fact that they're on a team I hate and that the players I like/love are on a *different* team. f*** that! Imma go buy me a shit ton of Big Ben jerseys and just burn my Bernie Kosar ones. But.....I like Bernie Kosar....... *runs out of the room crying.*

I just want to say f*** the NFL for making the Rams end the season on the road for the EIGHTH time in TEN years. Only in 2009 and 2011 have we ended at home. Before that, was 2004...

I am talking about NFL fans in general. Browns fans alone aren't likely to have driven the sales that much because the Browns are a mid-market team. Historically speaking, unless a player has massive league-wide appeal a player from a team with a market that size are not going to be top sellers. Unless every single one of you Browns fans thought he was going to be their team's savior (though, if that really is the case it is much funnier), that means that somehow Manziel managed to gain more nationwide appeal than a number of stars who either had the advantage of being on much larger market teams or actually have a track record of being successful in the NFL.

He had a big fanbase in college at a big program, so those fans followed him to the NFL. Also with the except of Beckham, all those guys had been playing for a few years, big time rookies usually sell a lot of jerseys. Tebow was a massive jersey seller, and there's no doubt he'll sell a lot of Eagles jerseys.

Secondly, the Browns have a really good following. That's what matters more in the NFL. Cleveland isn't a huge market, but neither is DC or Pittsburgh or Green Bay. But they ALL support their team more than bigger markets. Phoenix, San Diego, and Miami are larger markets than most of those listed and they all have very fickle followings. And Manziel was a rookie, so no one had his jersey yet. And he had hype. And he was a quarterback. And he got ironic sales, like Tebow. Look at RGIII, he was the #1 selling jersey his rookie year.

Why so many night games for my Giants? Oh well, at least I can watch them at home, and not have to worry about going to a crowded bar to watch the game since all they play are Redskins or Ravens games on the local stations here in VA.

TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports the Browns are the "front runners" to trade up and acquire Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.
If I'm Marcus I refuse to go there
