I used to go through Yahoo Personals when I was bored to see if I recognized anyone. I came across a profile of a girl that just moved here and thought her smile was amazing. I spent the $20 to get her contact info and over a decade later we're still together with two beautiful children. Best $20 I've ever spent.

We watched King Kong vs Godzilla the first time we hung out. Like seriously, I should have married her that night. Aw sweet. Also, without the Canadian Bacon on his nips, that Cesaro picture looks just like my other half! I was drawn at first by the way he had the whole group at a party listening intently to him telling a story. I met him at a party one of my best mates and his then-girlfriend was throwing, and he was there through mutual friends. He has told me that the first time he saw me smile was when he was drawn to me. |

She crashed at my place one night, totally platonic, and we just laid in my bed talking for like 2 hours when we first woke up and I felt an immediate connection. Like right then and there, I decided I really wanted to marry this girl, so a little under 3 years later we got hitched. Didn't work out, but it was what it was and I'm okay knowing I experienced truly falling in love.
I no longer trust my first instinct :-P

She was the cute, sweet, new co-worker. She then almost completely ruined it by talking about her kid. I assumed the dad was still in the picture because I could not imagine anyone letting her go (turns out he is a complete shithead, so he did not have a choice in not being in the picture or not).
