That's not saying I hate Dogma. This was a hard list for me to compile because I honestly like all of Smiths work(that I've seen) and it might be a completely different list if I did it tomorrow.
Still haven't seen Tusk and I have no plans on watching Cop out or Jersey Girl anytime soon.

I honestly really like Jersey Girl. It isn't at all typical Kevin Smith fare, and if you want that you're gonna be sorely disappointed, but it's a decent little movie with a heart.

I never got what was so funny about the LOTR stuff in Clerks II. Frodo and Sam's relationship is a big part of what makes the trilogy so memorable, who cares if it looks homoerotic? From what I've seen: Dogma Clerks Chasing Amy Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Mallrats Clerks II Red State It was Randall being Randall and also doing anything he could to get under Elias' skin. Remember that Elias was a really sheltered dude whose family was super-religious. So getting to trash LOTR AND freak out Elias with the gay? Double bonus. |
