I found out about this exciting new picture, maybe now playing at a theater within 100 miles of you A movie for men who will not be alone with a woman who is not their wife, and people who find that baffling and hilarious. Chivalry makes a comeback, yo. I am going to see the f*** out of this today.

I assumed this was going to be about the Tag Team.

Chivalry makes a comeback?
I'll believe it when we get a half decent movie about any of the Levantine Crusades or the Hundred Years' War.

So I went in all excited to laugh and laugh and have my fun and...
I legitimately enjoyed the movie. (shrug)
It has its problems, namely that the writer/director looks noticeably too old for his role as the main character who was in college eight years before the time of the movie, and one could definitely take issue with like thematic elements, but I enjoyed it from start to end. A lot of nice imagery, relaxed laid-back tone. The lead actress was very likeable.

To paraphrase Dave Chappelle, chivalry is dead because women killed it.

It is a risible vanity project.
