What is the Kliq's actual legacy in wrestling? Curious to see a good mix of srs and not so srs responses.

Making the mid 90s nigh on unwatchable by killing the momentum of every rising star they encountered, leaving the WWF with no choice but to pair them up in the main event of major PPVs with dregs like Mabel who had no business being one lapse of judgement away from the WWF title. Also bringing back the fannypack.

What? No option for those cool fanny packs they all wore back then? They brought that look to the main stream. I remember seeing those pics of them rocking that look and I wanted to be just like them.
Lol.

Any of you who don't vote for the iconic tank invasion of WCW are wrong. It was the greatest moment in the history of our sport

Also bringing back the fannypack.I don't think the fanny pack needed bringing back in mid-90s WWF. It probably had more clout in the business than the Kliq.

The WWF would have lost the Monday Night Wars if it wasn't for the tank.

Making the mid 90s nigh on unwatchable by killing the momentum of every rising star they encountered Like who? Serious question. I was a mark back then so any of this stuff would have passed me by How many people worked with the Kliq and rose up the card after? The only guy who really managed it was Jeff Jarrett, who was an associate of the Kliq and the son of a high ranking member of management so had more stroke than even they did at that point in time. They made Shane Douglas look like an arse with the shenanigans surrounding his IC 'run', they refused to let PCO/Jean Pierre Lafitte's main event feud with Diesel even get to TV, they wouldn't even let him win a match he was booked to win at a house show in his home town then forced him out the door after he stood up for himself, there's also Adam Bomb who was heading up the card until he met Shawn and found his push evaporated soon after, heck, the only kliq member Bomb got any wins over was the 1-2-3 kid who was a jobber to the stars. Bam Bam was promised a big facepush for agreeing to work with and carry LT, they made sure that never really came to pass but hey, he got to be Diesel's buddy in a few tag matches, that's just as good, right? Shawn pissed and moaned to kill any chance Vader had of gaining any traction and so on and so forth. They could have had far better feuds with the talent available, the talent management wanted them to make look like stars but it just didn't happen.

To me they will always be remembered as four great wrestlers and a big man who was gold on the mic.
