How can one man have so many awesome characters. The image of Stardust putting Kane and the Big Show out to pasture is a blissful one. There's only one real way this can end.

I will say, it would be amazing if they let Cody retire all four of those guys.

Cody (excuse me, Stardust) should be Exhibit A when people talk about booking and true talent not being allowed to rise to the top.
He's one of the best three or four people on the roster in-ring and on the mic in getting over an idea and playing an evolving character. No matter what he's given, he works it until it works.
Yet he's one of whom it can truly be said is being buried ... not just a one-match result like most people usually whine about, but systematically over time.

Why the hell couldn't they show that on TV? Because then what would you watch on the WWE App and WWE Network? Follow us on wwe and live tweet how the WWE Network is a steal for $9.99 a month.

Like so many other past teases I wouldn't expect anything to come of this.

It's a shame that one short promo is the only thing that will ever possibly come of this.

Stardust vs Val Venis Stardust vs Gangrel Stardust vs Blue Meanie (Bluedust) Stardust vs Gillberg Stardust vs Pete Gas & Rodney Stardust vs Steve Blackman Stardust vs Scotty Too Hotty Stardust vs Stevie Richards Stardust vs Godfather Stardust vs Bull Buchanan
These matches need to happen or have Stardust face someone from the Attitude Era all the time in what he should call "Cosmic Challenges"

If this were two years ago, he would've literally meant fat people based on who he listed.

Cody is a star waiting to happen. If there's anybody in WWE being overlooked as a future money maker, it's him.
And he's right in a certain way. One thing that's hurt WWE babyfaces over the past few years is how they cling to so many Attitude traits. It's why you see people complain about good guys acting like dicks- people loved Austin, but it's a different era now.

I'm guessing the post show stuff isn't micromanaged to death and wrestlers are actually allowed to do some things themselves.

They don't want the aggro direct-action asshole. They want the condescending, snarky, "I'm rolling my eyes with a smirk on my face as I dismiss you and talk about why nobody should ever like you (not just as a wrestler, but as a real person)" asshole.

Great work that 98% of the audience will be unaware of. It will probably be mentioned in a throw away line during commentary.

Likeable as he is, nobody sees the person they always wanted to be in a cheerful ginger Ska fan from French Canada. They see who they want to be in a surly thick jerk lashing out at everyone because someone else made it big before he did. They see who they want to be in a snarky jackass who screams from the mountaintop how anti-establishment he is. They see who they want to be in a freak of nature who can dead-weight throw anyone and everyone around like a rag doll, chortling gleefully all the while. They see who they want to be in the hippie who can not only tie everyone in knots, but also managed to 'score' what society views as the traditional 'hot chick'. It helps that he also has a little bit of "anti-establishment" in him. They see who they want to be in a (theoretically) unpredictable whirlwind of a man who walks into and out of situations without giving a single f*** and just does whatever he wants.

No thanks. I AND MOST LIKELY OTHERS do not want someone like CM Punk. Sami Zayn is the perfect face that everyone can get behind.

Personally, I'd kind of like for the "Live Vicariously Through [insert wrestler here]" sort of thing to go away entirely.

I can get behind face Punk so long as he's not playing "revolutionary", the Pipe Bomb stuff never felt sincere to me. I loved him back in 2007-2009, when he was more of an Austin Aries type- a laid back guy who still generally disliked authority and was kinda cocky. But the whole "you're a kiss-ass!" nonsense was just so uuuuuugh...

I totally agree. Buried? No. Cody isn't buried. Cody is pretty much one of the only non-former World Champion midcarders that has a somewhat stable and consistent spot.
