This just highlights what I hate about heel authority figures. The actual Faces of the company work their asses off in matches, then have to retire for working their asses off. The heel authority figures talk shit for years and years and years, and maybe get their comeuppance in one match. Then when the Faces have to retire, the heel authority figures are still there to talk shit to the next Faces. The overarching theme is that the heroes ultimately don't change a thing, and the company (which is run by assholes) continues on without them. |
