I was listening to the attitude era podcast and it reminded me of so many great Foley moments as commisioner. It made me realise that despite being the most popular authority figure in WWE history they have never really tried to duplicate it. We've had hundreds of Mr McMahon type copycats, but never a Foley one.
Enter Christian. The guy is one of the best on the microphone in WWE history, is natrually funny, beloved by the fans and lives up to his Captain Charisma moniker. Now that he's almost retired from wrestling, I'd love to see him in a role like this.
How about you?

I would love it, but I can't see WWE getting away from a heel authority figure for more than a few days.

f*** that have Edge and Christian as co commissioners.
they can rehash their "The Chairmen" nickname no selling anyone who tells them that Vince is the actual chairman

It would certainly bring him full circle. Face authority figures rule!

Remember that lawsuit angle recently that they just dropped? Now that would be a good way to bring Christian in as a new GM.

I was just thinking of Christian in the Foley role and the likes of Tyson Kidd, Axel, Bo Dallas and Fandango playing the goofy Edge/Christian/Angle roles. Would be glorious.

Christian one of the best on the mic in WWE history. No. You really do hate everything. Live the gimmick bro. Try and find a bad Christian promo. I'll wait.

I'd love if they used continuity and had Christian bring in Mick Foley for a cameo when he is tryig to catch some heels in the act of lying to him to get out of matches.

Not really. 15 years of exceptional work kind of does the talking for me really. Heel, face, serious, or comedy Christian can do it all.

I don't care what he does as long as he's on my TV.

I'd dig it for sure. Would also like seeing guys like RVD or other retired (or retired-ish) vets in roles on the show.

As much as I enjoy Hunter and Stephanie in their roles, they really should have left after Survivor Series. They had a perfect reason to be off television and no real reason to come back.
Christian becoming the GM would have been great as there's not many better on the mic than him and he's still relativity fresh in peoples minds so I have no problem thinking they'd accept him in the role. And what an entertaining GM he would be. I honestly miss the days of a face GM like Foley, there's been no one like that since and it's a damn shame, because that was arguably the best GM they've ever had. Christian would suit it perfectly.
I also wouldn't mind if they had him as a face GM that's just there on occassion to make a match, appear in some backstage segments and help feuds along when needed - like Teddy Long. Instead of making tag matches though, he could make TLC matches. Holla Holla.

You know who I'd like? Some random office schmuck who shows up only when needed.

Unless it leads to Christian eating an RKO somehow on his first night back, I'm perfectly fine not having him on my Tv anymore.
