That could have been a great story. We could have had serious Hornswoggle in a suit doing his best to lead RAW and gain respect from his wrestlers. I would watch that.

Because it likely wasn't supposed to ever be him as the Anonymous GM - especially since the AGM actually made rulings that caused Hornswoggle to get massacred a couple of times.

The reason behind being anonymous was GMs tend to get attacked a lot. If no one knew who the GM was they could avoid being attacked. This is especially important for hornswoggle who is half the size of most of the roster.

Good idea OP. I always thought "serious" Hornswoggle in a suit would be a brilliant idea. Have him lash out at the fans for treating him like a child due to his size. He could manage some big guy and order him around. There's tons of potential there.
But what most people in this thread forget is that the Anonymous GM came back on Raw last year and they made no mention of it being Hornswoggle. In fact I think they even clarified that it was a joke. I can't remember the episode or what happened in it but I remember the laptop buzzing at the end of Raw. So he was definitely back the next week.

I don't know if it was intended to be taken literally, or if it was a one off. Similarly, I don't think we're supposed to think R-Truth actually exploded or that Hornswoggle ran through a painted doorway, Roadrunner style.
