Earl is trash. How he's been a referee for so long I will never understand. He's so bad.
But, I guess Taz and Tenay/Mathews love ripping him on commentary enough that they keep him around.

I think I'd have a higher tolerance for Earl if history didn't prop him up as the baddest ref on the planet. Ever since he pushed Triple H, he's always been the go-to guy for ref storylines, built up as the ref of all refs, he doesn't stand out as a bad ref but they put so much attention on him that it annoys me to look at him.

I don't believe that 30 year old bodybuilding professional wrestlers are going to be scared of chubby ass Earl Hebner who is almost 70. |
