I'm not a fan of mixed matches, Kevin Sullivan said it best when he said that it kills suspension of disbelief therefore he hated booking those types of matches.
Nobody wins from this scenario, it's not like Robbie's career is gonna end like Marc Mero's but he shouldn't have agreed.

Inter-gender wrestling can be done right; this was not an example of it being the case.
It's only really a comedy mid-card feud, though. You have to cut it some slack, it's a match between a comedy goon and his ex - It's probably the best it's going to get. Least it's not a top program.

It's a bad idea in this case. It can be done right, and I'd even argue Jarrett vs Chyna was a somewhat decent way of doing it, but it's best left to something like Paul E. or Harvey Whippleman or Andy Kaufman buffoonery, if you plan to do it.

A. It allowed Brooke to be on t.v., so it's a winner from that vantage point alone.
B. The match itself sucked blue whale, but pretty much any match involving any or all of the following; DJ Zema, Robby E, Jesse, Angelina Love, Velvet Skye over the last 6 months has been a joke, so I don't see why this should have been any different.

Placement was a huge problem with it. What happened just before this match? Magnus vs Bram and Bram holding Mickie hostage threatening to destroy her. You go from a guy threatening male on female violence, the commentators damning it, and really a good way to build heel heat to this crap. Robbie shoves Brooke, and suplexes her, and it's a comedy match. Huge whiplash from the previous segment.

Huge whiplash from the previous segment. Agree about the placing. It would have worked better if they had a recap then the Lashley/Angle montage, then the match after the commercial break. However, placement and pacing among other things, have never been a strength of Impact.

Yeah man, you never saw Babydoll beating up the talent, only Cornette.

Would've made Amazing Race a lot more fun if it happened right after they were eliminated

I thought the match told a good story, honestly. If any guy on the roster was gonna do it, King Goober Robbie E was the one to do it.

Madusa also did pretty much the same deal against Oklahoma, but I don't blame anyone for forgetting that. In fact, I'd be a little jealous.

One thing is for a woman beating up a manager like Heyman or a wimp like Ferrara, my problem is that Robbie E is an active wrestler, f*** he even is a former tag champion

Here's the problems I had:
1. The feud was stupid. 2. Neither side has ever been taken seriously as a competitor. 3. Neither side treated this match in particular seriously. Robbie E came out pretending to be a MMA fighter and did a lot of shadow boxing, while Brooke shaked her ass 50,000 times. 4. Neither side is gonna be doing anything worthwhile in the foreseeable future. Robbie E and the Bromans are in that group with Crazzy Steve that they are nothing but enhancement talent, while you're not gonna see Brooke do anything significant in the Knockouts Division. 5. Man vs. woman wrestling matches are already controversial, but this reached parody levels. And not a good parody, either.

I thought it was a fun match. Nothing to write home about, a five star classic or anything but certainly fun. God help you guys if you tried to watch PWG.
