I thought PJ did a great job on the fall of Boromir "My brother, my captain....My King." Honestly one of if not my favorite scene in Fellowship.

People were really taken by surprise by the Brother dying in Big Hero 6? I figured he was marked for death from the beginning. That's kinda what Disney does and all of his dialouge was very much "I'm not gonna be around much so here's everything about me really fast" Personally I found it funny from the standpoint of the archetypal backstory for a main character. "Alright the kid's already an orphan, so now let's kill his brother!"

Tisean from "Set It Off." The ones that were closest were Stony's brother as he was shot by cops and he was unarmed, and Frankie, well while her death was imminent, I felt for her for the course of the movie because she lost her job due to the bank manager firing her for knowing the robber at the beginning. However, with Tisean, she had a child who she needed to support and she died slowly from a gunshot and she died in the arms of Stony. I started to cry when I saw that part.
I never felt anything when Cleo was killed because she was the worst one of the bunch.

As a kid, I was sad by the death in My Girl.

I didn't like seeing Donny go. But then, happen to know that there's a little Lebowski on the way. I guess that's the way the whole durned human comedy keeps perpetuatin' it-self, down through the generations, westward the wagons, across the sands a time, until-- aw, look at me, I'm ramblin' again.

Maggie in Million Dollar Baby Oh Jesus, this. Forever this. I saw this movie for the first time watching on my iPad with headphones in and on a train full of crowded people, and the part where he explains the name...I wailed. People stared.

Edward Bloom in Big Fish. And it just gets worse during the actual funeral.
