Nah, I'd rather enjoy the characters for their personalities without worrying about the status they may or may not have.
I mean, really... How f***ing annoying would it be if you had a friend that became royalty and you had every other person coming to you and telling you "OH YOU CAN'T BE FRIENDS WITH THAT PERSON ANYMORE, THEY'RE TOO GOOD FOR YOU NOW"? One way ticket to a punch in the face, in my opinion. It'd be a interesting subject for the show to cover, in all honesty.
