Why has everyone who lived in that town in Philly 20 years ago living in New York now? The Matthews are one thing. But Minkus and Harley? And soon to be {Spoiler}Mr. Turner and Shawn Not to mention Cory's little brother just goes back and forth whenever he wants. Also, a former college/high school/ elementary teacher is the face of the education system in NY? Come on. |

Well, if you remember....Corey & Riley were trying in an episode to hook Shawn & Mya's mom up.

Minkus and Shawn being in NY makes sense. Minkus being some sort of corporate billionaire and Shawn a photographer. Also in Shawn's case, only recently did he decide to stay more around the Matthews family. Before that he came and went.
Feeny being on the poster is just a joke and to take it too seriously is like taking Cory's Celery poster seriously.
These are just references, what I find really weird is the episode where it's revealed Maya's, Riley's and the boy she likes grandparents all knew each other. Went too far with that.

Why did they change the location any way? do you mean why nyc ? It is continuity from the end of boy meets world - Shawn , Topanga , Corey & Eric all are headed to nyc to start their new lives |

You think that's weird, a bunch of kids from Indiana that were close friends just happened to move to Southern California at the same time and their freaking principal went too!
I mean, you can't spell principal without pal but still.

It happened on Saved by the Bell as well. Zack, Screech, Lisa and Mr. Belding were all in the same school together in Indiana on the Disney Channel then suddenly they were all together in California. I sense a conspiracy.
