I had to google the name, and I immediately recognized him as one of those character actors I've seen a million times but never knew by name. He was also Juliette Lewis's dad, it turns out. RIP |

I've know him for years. He was in a bunch of Clint Eastwood movies but I knew him from the Jean Claude Van Damme masterpiece "Kicking Twins".
I found out he was Juliette's father like a week ago. He and his wife had ten children total.

Had no idea he was Juliette's dad. But having now seen photos of the 2 together, I can't believe I never realized that. And count me as one who knew him (almost solely) as the father figure from DOUBLE IMPACT. RIP sir.  |

Yeah, I also remember him as the guy from Double Impact.
And the jury foreman from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Great character actor.

Saw him in the last Spaghetti Western, Silver Saddle. The movie is Goddamn terrible, but he was decent in it.
