For taking a selfie with a girl's ass in the background time.com/3826749/michael-buble-photo-instagram/I took it as a joke, with his comment, it's like Kim Kardashian posting a pic of her ass on the internet. Besides, he didn't dump on this girl, so I don't get the shaming claim Some called it sexist, I call it much ado about nothing Thoughts?

Well thats creepy as shit. I took it as a joke, with his comment, it's like Kim Kardashian posting a pic of her ass on the internet. Nope. Kim gave permission. This person didn't. Its that simple.

I agree with you, but the phrase “its that simple" is needlessly condescending.

I'm sure his wife is thrilled. His wife took the picture, so. I don't think this is body shaming, but it is kinda creepy to appreciate a random stranger's butt without their consent.

My thoughts? I'm pretty sure I've seen this movie before. Spoilers:
1. Someone sees something they don't like. 2. They share it. 3. People get mad. 4. Twitter, Tumblr, Slate, Salon, HuffPo, etc. do an NWO run-in. 5. Groveling public apology. 6. Someone gets fired or something gets shut down. 7. Everyone forgets, except when they bring it up now and then about how oppressive the world is towards (whoever).
1.5 stars. Save your money, wait for Netflix.

I don't see what's creepy about it, honestly. If you consider just the context of the photo, it really does seem pretty harmless.

Of all the things that demand outrage in the world I find it shocking that people devote so much time and energy to something like this.
I mean by our societies standards he hasn't really done anything wrong, whether those standards are right or wrong though is another issue.
my point being people are singling a celebrity out for something that if anyone else did it would be a complete non issue, I bet if you went through any of these complainers social media accounts you could find something more exciting to make a molehill out of.

At the end of the day, it comes down to an issue of consent. And consent is an incredibly important thing in our society, or at least it should be. The fact that a grown man with a successful career doesn't have the brainpower or moral stance to think "Oh hey, I'm going to take a photo of this stranger's behind without consent and post it on the internet with creepy comments." is an unpleasant way to behave is a reflection of larger issues. And if he gets away with it, what's to stop every licentious little creeper on the internet?

Well her identity was protected in the sense nobody saw her face so I don't think it's too bad but definitely has a level of creepiness.

I guess my thing is, none of this would have happened if Buble wasn't a perv about it and posted it on social media. So I'm not even bothered by the outcry, it shouldn't have been posted to begin with.

Certainly not "body shaming" but very definitely creepy and a little bit degrading.

He could have at least blurred out the girl's face or something.
